Funny as it may be to laugh at Germans, Anti football won.

 

Paraguay played for penalties, were dirty buggers, rolled and lolled around, wasted as much time as they could (which wasn't added back on) and were helped a lot by the officials.

 

Every lower ranked team is going to try to emulate that shithouse route through.

France v Germany in a last 16 would have looked good on paper but in reality it would have been a such a mismatch. At least with Paraguay we wont be fooled into thinking it wont be anything other than a straightforward France win, and thats coming from someone who doesnt like France

Expectations weren‘t high in Germany in the first place. Many calling this the worst national squad ever.

Great result. Woltemade peno was abysmal. Gutted I have to sleep now and miss Morocco Netherlands.

Great result but I miss when shootouts were filmed on the traditional camera angle. The taker looks so much more isolated from the pitch side camera.

This German team is set up worse than the one England beat in Euro 2021, they were robbed a bit today but didnt create much and would get beat easily by France, Netherlands or Morocco  in their quarter of the draw.

German players playing the game at walking pace and showing little urgency while encouraging each other to be "patient" and slow the game down. 

 

If a team encourages you into their third, pumel them with crosses. Somethings gonna fall your way eventually. The absolute dream is to watch midfielders and defenders nonchalantly pass the ball sideways.

 

The VAR decision was terrible in my opinion, delighted for Paraguay though.

Netherlands Morrocco should be decent. You'd fancy both teams will rate their chances of winning. So should see more of an open game.
