Not sure what’s wrong with me, but I really enjoyed that! 
I think for the most part we actually played quite well, and controlled the game. Their keeper made 3 or 4 top saves. 
We looked a lot better when Gordon came on, I actually quite liked the look of us when Rice moved to right back. 
Kane is class, when you’ve got a player like that in your team, you’re never out of a game.

He was given multiple auditions in friendlies and was shite in all of them, couple that with being injured almost all year… and he’s out.
On form he is rightly behind Rogers and Bellingham at 10, when tried on the right he was really poor. 
 

Similar story for Foden; had an audition as a false 9 and few other bits for a role in the squad. Failed; he’s out.

We created more and better chances than all the other games, I’d agree. Just took ages to take one of them. Their keeper was unreal tbf.

No one is claiming that was some footballing masterclass - simply that we deserved to win that match on the basis of how it went, regardless of if there's quite obvious room for improvement. Whether or not we have "better" players is by the by and an irrelevance in the context of the argument.

I'm not a fan of Foden. But I still think Tuchel is crap and is squad selection is weak

I’m genuinely not worried, if that was a consolation goal at the end instead of the start the fan reaction would be very different. Right back is definitely an issue, but the whole backline is to blame for exposing that area of the pitch, that’s on the manager. It’s fixable.
