Yeah. They were being touted as upcoming options for the prem a good while back. 2/3 more years of development and us dropping 2 leagues. If it's going to happen for them here it's going to be this season.

Interesting that Begovic has a profile remaining on the official website, especially as the others who have gone have 'gone'.

 

I assume we'll have confirmation that he is either going to become a coach or a player for us, soon.

I thought most were quite positive about him and were suprised he didnt get given more opportunities?

From what I saw they were always a bit confused as to why he didn’t play more.

I’ve seen a fair few negative comments, lightweight, does too much, just genuinely not very good. Let’s see how he gets on as a starter would love to be proven wrong. Like a few of the youngsters this is their chance now.  They aren’t 16yr old potential anymore

Such a shame really he looked such a find when he scored 4 in Russia for us, trouble is not only did he lose his confidence god knows why but he was far too light weight so far too easily knocked off the ball if only his skill matched his pace he’d have been a much better player but unfortunately a nice guy doesn’t make him a quality striker but I think Div 1 is just about his level 🤦‍♂️

I was aware of these friendlies a good 6 weeks ago and still no ticket details. That attendance cap against Genoa as well. They aren't even hiding that they don't want you there.

Playing both games at Algeciras, capacity around 7k. I loosely follow Cádiz after a great trip there last year and they are probably a similar level to us - an ageing squad, frustrated fanbase, and a terrible owner. Malaga and Genoa should destroy us though.
