Lots of teams had some great attacking players but it's not surprise to see the team with the best midfield win the tournament. Midfield controls games and that's why Spain generally do well.

I seem to remember Morocco being a "liberal" and safe Muslim country, but I have no clue as to how really safe it is over there, and how reliable and effective Moroccan police are.

It is mainly but Argentina and Uruguay are getting a game or two as well as part of the 100 years of the World Cup celebrations.

One of the reasons they are pushing for 64 teams is because the south american countries want more matches...these things usually happen.

They've always been awful. Always will be. Can't believe people wanted them to beat France in the last World Cup final.

They've always had the Argie attitude of winning at all cost and not giving a **** what people think about them. 

 

But they weren't this obnoxious in the last world cup, I also just wanted Messi to win it. 

 

They've been pretty vile at this world cup and were, even by their own standards, completely disgusting yesterday. Not to mention absolutely honking in football terms. 

 

2022 felt very much like Messi's Argentina, 2026 was definitely Enzo Fernandez' Argentina.

Nobody is a saint, especially pumped up in all that adrenaline in the heat of the moment with a world cup on the line. But I don't think I've seen him involved in that much tbh?

 

It's always Enzo Fernandez, Paredes, Molina, Emi Martinez, Montiel, Otamendi and Romero.
