"a good character who drives standards" is not a 7 figure player let's be real, that is the bare minimum. If he doesn't offer anything beyond that you've bought a cheerleader, and most of us would do that work and cost far less than 2m

Perez was frustrating at times but I can't remember him having a single game as anonymous as Cullen today.

You can't remember him being that anonymous, because he was anonymous. That's the irony :D

It feels harsh to go after new players already but we have so far got what we were warned we were getting.

Martin has worked with McCarthy and Cullen before. These are his picks. These are on him if they don't improve.

Cooper and his need for PL experience, led us into getting Ayew, Bobby and Skipp, 3 completely useless players. Now Russell has done the same with Cullen and the GK. When are we going to learn.

Are we still in the window?

  • Cancellation window: You have 14 days from the day after you receive your goods to notify the seller that you want to cancel.
  • Return window: Once you notify them, you have an extra 14 days to send the items back.
  • Reason needed: You do not need to give any reason to get your refund.

First game did nothing, new signing he’s not guilty for the last three years. Let’s watch him in the next few games without condemning him with our negativity maybe?

Thankfully we have a reliable hierarchy who would never allow these repeated errors to occur. So no worries. Some more old Martin dross (John Souttar) to follow soon no doubt.

How long would you give him?

Martin? If he picks another piss-take XI like that earlier next week then I'm done with him already.

2 seasons ago we spent a large part of our budget on a player we didn't need, knew wasn't good enough, for a price that was far too high, who immediately became about 4th best option for his position. Looks like we've repeated the trick. Clearly not a striker, and behind Chaplin, Alves, and maybe even Reid.

Whats the point of having a director of football and chief football officer if they cant either;

A) spot that a player (forward) isnt good enough, is the deadwood of another below average championship side who doesn't score and assist goals, and isnt/wouldnt be up to scratch for ourselves - particularly if we meet our objectives and get promoted.

B) Veto the signing by the manager due to said reasons above, as well as the fact that the profile of player is too similar and doesn't supercede what we have.

This appears to be another Coulibaly signing.
