If we are paying Faes and can't sell him, we should play him up front.

Watching our players turn back again and again, because we had no striker, was not fun.

Good show from the Academy products, mostly.

Why is anybody surprised?

We knew we were in for turgid football when we hired Russell Martin.

The important things are a) We won and b) There were some bright performances from some of the young lads

What was the formation at the end after Cullen went off? We had no one playing Centre Forward. Is Martin trying to make a point to the board? Why did we have both Skipp and Choudhury on the pitch? Were we really that desperate for the win?

If he needs to make a point about no strikers, that’s worrying… everyone knows we need to sign strikers

On  this evidence we have to sign ball playing CBs and 2 proper strikers.

Mavididi needs to retire,

Braybrooke looks class, Watson was bright along with Alves and JJ.

The dregs still need draining out of the swamp........okoli, mav, bdcr, faes

Youngsters look good

Like Watson, Burns and JJ

Win and clean sheet!

Hopefully things improve the next few games

WE NEED A STRIKER AND CB TOP!!!!!!

Until we have a CF is going to be tough, playing BCDR at false 9 is a dreadful idea.

Mavididi, Thomas picking up where they left off, how Skipp was a PL is beyond me.

Good starts for Alves, Braybrooke and Joseph.

Watson looks a player and we be playing over Mavididi by a couple of games, nice to see Aluko and Page get minutes.

Okoli and Souttar to causal.

Weird game. Not exciting or really like a cup game.

Won reasonably comfortably and clean sheet.

All that needs to be said really. All of you shitting yourselves already need to at least give it a couple of games.

Mavididi, Reid and Skipp are a waste of time, get rid and finish draining the swamp! So negative in their play. Thomas is still a liability, albeit his set pieces are decent.

And a Souttar/Okoli partnership doesn’t work with RM’s style of football - you need a confident passer to break the lines.

Positives were Braybrooke, JJ and Watson looked decent when he came on.

Clearly need a striker as well.

Far from impressive, but it's basically a pre-season friendly. No point wetting the bed just yet.

Playing like that we will just be cannon fodder in the league.

Really Concerning but it felt like a glorified pre season friendly.

I'll reserve judgement until we've played in league and we've finalised our transfer business. The team and squad will look completely different so at moment it's just about winning fixtures and gaining some momentum.

BREAKING - LCFC are pleased to announce that 2,500 season tickets have unexpectedly become available and will be sold on a first come first served basis from 9am on Monday. Don't miss your opportunity to get the hottest ticket in town.

Truly tragic stuff.

A brand of football that is both dull and unsuited to our squad. Players that still think they're too good for the league they've dragged us into.

We will get bullied by many sides this season. Those that can't do that will simply wait for one of the many unforced errors we present to them.

Fair play to JJ, Braybrooke, Skipp, who all looked decent and willing to make something happen. But that was boring beyond belief and I already had low hopes.

We shall remain an incredibly easy team to beat, or at least match, for another season yet.

The swamp is nowhere near drained.

Reid, Mavididi abominations of footballers. Thomas awful. Okoli can’t play this style of football. Souttar the definition of going through the motions. Choudhury strolling around collecting his £20k vile.

Braybrooke and Joseph the bright spots. Burns looks decent. We need ball playing centre halves and a proper outlet up front if we are going to be anywhere near title challengers.

Boring nothing football, didn’t deserve a clean sheet with that defending. Oh dear.

The usual lot then. Souttar probably wants that move away to Sheffield United.

Will having a CF make any difference? Clearly the manager gets his kicks out of watching defenders with hooves for feet trying to pass it around for as long as possible.
