Legend_in_blue Posted 14 August Posted 14 August I can see us going a goal up and shutting up shop, which never works, and a late equaliser. 1-1. 2

Imagine we either need to bag early or just have total control to keep the home crowd quiet Hull away year after winning league…… 1

It's just a bit happy clappy to me, wanting everyone in the same colour. Should be bring your voices or something, it just comes across a bit Coach 1. 2

ian__marshall Posted 14 August Posted 14 August (edited) Can't wait to get the season underway properly. Hoping with the weather it should be a good away trip. Need to lay down a marker to the rest of league. No messing about. Show everyone we mean business and plant the psychological seed that everyone else is playing for 2nd place. I want to see confidence and a positive arrogance in our performance. Will be a real test of the character of the players RM has brought in, because previously any such arrogance would manifest itself as lack of effort, but instead it needs to be the opposite, arrogance that we'll outwork, technically outplay, and dominate the opponent. Of course, that needs to be backed up in both the statistics and more importantly the scoreline. Edited 14 August by ian__marshall 1

Clever Fox Posted 14 August Posted 14 August Excited for the new season, I'm going to just forget what league we're in. Watson and Burns on the wings feeding Bristric in the Centre will do for me. Braybrook and Alves playing in front of Skipp will give us youth with something to porve and Goals I feel. I'd take a 1 nil win now but it could be 3 on Saturday if we turn up.
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 14 August Posted 14 August Registration deadline for tomorrow has passed (12:00 noon), so I would assume that means; • Souttar remains a Leicester City player for at least for this weekend and is presumably available for selection. • No further last minute additions to the playing staff for this weekend’s game.
Pliskin Posted 14 August Posted 14 August (edited) Who will actually be the GK? I don’t know anything about this lad from Blackpool? Edited 14 August by Pliskin

FosseSpark Posted 14 August Posted 14 August so Stola and Thomas start as they are more fully fit. and our jittery defensive passing continues. if we have to play Thomas then make sure he's the full back pushed most forward....
TheGoldenGod Posted 14 August Posted 14 August WTF is up with Chaplin? Any danger of anyone there doing some actual journalism? Is he out for this game, 3 months, the season? 3

FrankieADZ Posted 14 August Posted 14 August (edited) Mcarthy JJ Souttar Okoli Thomas Skipp braybrooke cullen watson burns BDR(prefer AB but cant see it) or cullen upfront and Alves in the 10 role(rather that is AB is on the bench) Edited 14 August by FrankieADZ
Cropwellfox Posted 14 August Posted 14 August If Faes is available reckon he’ll go McCarthy Joseph Faes Souttar Thomas Skipp Braybrooke Cullen Mavididi BDCR Burns subs Jakub, Okoli, McFarlane, Choudhury Watson Alves Bristric and the forum will go into a nuclear meltdown
boosmanana Posted 14 August Posted 14 August McCarthy Joseph Aluko Souttar McFarlane Braybrooke Burns Alves Page Watson Bristric Stolarczyk, Faes, Coulibaly, Skipp, Howell, Mavididi, Cullen Experienced keeper. Fast, direct fullbacks with Aluko able to cover Souttar for balls in behind when they inevitably try to counter. Midfield all high energy, good in 1v1 situations and comfortable on the ball. Striker with a bit of presence.
