JimJams Posted 1 September Posted 1 September I'd like to keep, but if that's the deal on the table it's decent. 2
Death by Football Posted 1 September Posted 1 September But if that's the deal won't he then be blocking the development of one of our young players? Jeez this League One thing is tricky.

But we are so reliant upon needing promotion this season, and someone like Page could be the difference between it, I would say having him back is worth blocking one of our youth players development for a season. But we'll see, hopefully he isn't going anywhere this window.
Pliskin Posted 1 September Posted 1 September (edited) I’d be fuming if we sold him now. The lads clearly beans, keep him and let his value rise. Edited 1 September by Pliskin 3
James and his giant peach Posted 1 September Posted 1 September Blocking the development of someone else who will play a bit then piss off to a bigger club at the first opportunity. It's depressing if we lose page and monga in same window having hardly ever played. It was criminal that Skipp and Mavididi kept these two put the team last season. Disgusting even.
UniFox21 Posted 1 September Posted 1 September They've posted a pic on Instagram of him being at the stadium 1

He's one of the best players we have here and whether we keep him as our player or as someone else's it doesn't matter. As long as we get a good fee for him and a significant sell on. 1

However, it's less clear what benefit there would be for us in compromising on the price we want (and which they so far have failed to meet). Top wants money now before he sells

Aleksz Posted 1 September Posted 1 September Resigned to him going now. More pissed off we've let Man United bully us on deadline day and therefore will most likely miss tonights game, should have set a deadline to them for this nonsense or better still said come back in January.

adam Posted 1 September Posted 1 September Just say no FFS and sort something in January. Too late in the day now. 1

Bully us We bully ourselves by ending up such a mess that we could do with cashing in the money. Very few players in our squad don't have a price we'd be willing to accept if it helps the club ticking I am afraid. Simple facts that need accepting. Anyway, every offer I've seen has a loan back in it so if that's true I see no reason why he should miss tonight.
Edingleyfox Posted 1 September Posted 1 September Going to be really short of creativity in midfield if he goes. Has to be a crazy offer

Because the paperwork for said loan back won't go through in time for him to take part in this match day. Just as Riis for example won't be in the squad tonight, it will still count as a player transaction.
