Agree give him time. But when can we stop using Vardy as a player we gave time to? That's 14 years ago and a complete outlier and has no relevance to other players.

For every Vardy, we’ve had 1,000 other players where we have all said, “he’s not up to the required standard”, or words to that effect. 
 

Carranza was last season’s version, the. You can literally pick them out every year. 
 

Ayew, Edouard, Cannon he 

 

People wanted to give Daka time, as he was raw potential. He put up far better numbers than this bloke before he arrived. He actually got worse, not better.

I heard he was coming into training and bumped into Rudkin. But Rudders didn't know who Bristric was so had him arrested for trespassing. Awaiting bail

Yep some of the strikers we've had have been beyond horrific. Carranza looked like he'd never played professional football before, Daka tried hard but ultimately had a massive lack of confidence, Ayew was simply the laziest footballer i've ever seen and who knows what happened to Edouard.

What's mad is we seem to consistently go from one extreme to the other.

 

We just don't do middle of the road on these things. We went from the most likeable team basically ever to, last season at least, the most dislikeable possible. It isn't like we go from exceedingly good to just 'OK', it's always a u-turn.

The standards thing is a myth. Luke Thomas starts every game. It's a fugazi. If there were any standards he'd not play another minute for the club.

People were giving him time right up until the very last game.

 

Criminal we kept him beyond the first season.
