The one thing we have to do tomorrow regardless of who plays is move the Ball quicker.. That's how you create holes in the opposition.

Plus it tires them out no player likes to be continuously chasing the Ball. Do the above and we should win easily.

Could not agree more and here lies the problem when the likes of Thomas, Souttar, Okoli and Skipp are the left back, central defenders and CDM. Players technically bereft and incapable of moving the ball at pace or breaking any kind of lines to beat the opposition press. This is why Cullen has looked largely ineffective against Northampton and Notts County, because whenever he did take up good positions, these players are incapable of making the required pass competently or quickly enough to benefit.

For that reason the club has to support Martin and bring in a new central defender, one who can play out from then back, however Martin can also help himself by replacing Thomas with McFarlane, drop Skipp and move Braybrooke into the 6, with either Chaplin or Howell coming into the more advanced midfielder role alongside Cullen.

Won't be there tomorrow, out for the day for my son's birthday. I did offer to get him a ticket but he said he'd report me to social services if I took him "down that place again" 😭

And he’d be right to! Smart kid lol

Agree with Ric above post. We've got to start changing this defence up immediately and adding some teeth up front.

If brussel continues to play lots of double relegation players or players that are there for 'experience' who add nothing to the team he won't last long with the fans.

If Luke starts, it tells me everything about Russell Martin. He cannot possibly start after last week.

Reid as well- let’s have a proper striker leading the line please.

You know deep in the centre of your bottom that he will play.

The issue with this style of play is you have to move the ball quickly otherwise it just looks a high risk, no reward. So far to

me, it’s been boring, slow, lack of chance creation and some players just looks destined to give the ball away in dangerous areas.

That said, it’s still very early days and hopefully it gets better. Today is a must win really in terms of the general feel about this ‘rebuild’

Cullen and Reid out please and Chaplin and Bristric in. Would like either McFarlane or Aluko in for Thomas too.

2-0 Leicester

Has anyone actually seen McFarlane play? Is it just because he's not Thomas?

How many fans are burton bringing

They're bringing over 2,000. To be fair, £30 a ticket is very top heavy for League One.

I fear that this could be yet another case of managerial cronyism/favouritism obscuring selection joining the lengthy list of managers here that are unable to recognise their best starting XI.

100% this.

The weaknesses are so clear to see.

Willing to give a free pass for the Notts County result / performance as its still teething issues.

Being too stubborn to change the obvious weaknesses / issues is what will get the fans backs up.

You've had your free pass, make the changes and get a positive result.
