Will probably lose without it being as big a hammering as most expect. This'll build some delusion ahead of next weekend - where we will lose by a heavier scoreline.

Stolarczyk(if he performs start him in the league)

Aluko

Okoli

Gray

McFarlane

Choudhury

Page

Cullen

Howell

Watson

Bristric (first 60 then I guess Cullen up top and anyone but Reid in midfield)

Want to see some of the squad options and see if we have anything we can use for the first team. I would have Neale/Hutchinson/De Lisle on the bench

Honestly just play all the fvcking kids. Get everyone else tae fvck. Find the biggest lump we’ve got and put him up top. Release anyone over 22 on a free. Sack Martin, bring in anyone, like just anyone, I don’t care. Just someone who isn’t him. Lock Rudkin up. Bring me on for the last 10 minutes. I’m shite but at least I’m up for it. I just want to die. Anyone else want to die?

at this point we would be better off just picking 11 random guys each week from the crowd and one random guy to manage

We will receive a full inbred finger lickin’ dickin’.

Fatawu to get one.

Rudkin will look miserable and delighted in equal measure.

RM will tell us we can’t let teams score poor goals against us, whilst he fingers his curtains.

Up the blues.

You can’t say that as an Ipswich fan.

Awful support until a few years back.

For pretty much the entirety of the last 60 years Ipswich and Leicester's attendances have bounced around the same numbers. The only major divergence was when Leicester got promoted and then won the PL and attendances jumped from 20k to 32k. At this time, Ipswich were absolutely stagnating and reach our lowest league position since the 50s. As soon as Ipswich jumped up the divisions they experienced the same style jump Leicester did. It was just offset by a few years.

If Ipswich had "awful support until a few years back", by the same logic Leicester did until 2014*

*FWIW I don't believe this to be true. What happened is both club recovered from being at rock bottom and weirdly enough, more people want to watch winning football teams.

That is quite an interesting line up. More positive than the previous losers line ups.

Looking forward to watching Thomas try to mark Fatawu.

We'd be the only lower league club that wont double up on Fatawu

Think this graph articulates quite well that we have stepped to the next level fan base wise, considering we have maintained a good chunk of the attendance. Think for Ipswich to gain that aspect on us they will need a few years in the premier league, just because of the outreach that provides nowadays. To me we are more in the grouping of a Forest/Brighton (Brighton get bad press because they’re newer but have a massive catchment and have a good sized following now)

edit- would also throw a handful of upper championship teams into that group like Southampton)

Joseph - Gray - Aluko - McFarlane
                      Braybrooke
                    Neale - Page
             Burns - Bristric - Alves

Subs:
Watson for Burns (60' or later)
Hutchinson for Bristic (65' or later)
Howell for Alves (70' or later)|
Chaplin for Page or Hamza for Neale (70' or later)
Souttar (reluctantly) on if Aluko needs to go to full back unless it's one of the 5 games per season Woyo is deemed good enough to be in the squad for

McCarthy, Okoli, Thomas, Cullen and BDCR can get in the bin
