It was same squad that got us to 5th in the championship in the previous season, which showcased that we had a poor manager at the time who choose try change the way we played too soon. Change the manager with Sven coming in two weeks later, the goals and results came. As mentioned it sometime shows it's not the players who are the problem its the tactics are the problem and whose responsible for that of course... the manager.

Yesterday was a much worse result than anything in the league. 4-0 defeat, at home, in the third division. I don’t see how it gets lower than that.

 

Up until 2008 we had never ever played in the third division. It’s sickening we are at that level now.

This was very depressing I remember. We'd been so good the season before for the first time in ages and then we went back to being crap again.

 

I'd also been seeing a really hot girl and we'd been travelling loads, up until she dumped me around July 2010 just before the Sousa season began. I remember watching this game on Bulgarian TV with a shit Chinese takeaway questioning my life choices.

Wasn't Morrison sent off - it was Miguel Vitor.

 

He became part of a select group (including Dion Dublin and more recently, Bade Aluko) to have been red-carded on their league debut for City.

And the worse ****ing thing was that they were totally taking the ****ing piss. 

 

It could have been 5, 6 or 7 at one point. 

 

Fair play to them but they've hardly troubled the scorers in over 130 years.

Yes you're right it was Morrison that gave away the penalty with that handball.

Any old foxes remember the two consecutive 5-0 drubbings at Man U and Forest back in 1980?

 

Painful at the time, but at least we did the double over the Scousers and Spurs that season.
