  1. 1. And your opinion is ……

    • Leicester 0–4 Oxford United (2026) - Have we hit rock bottom yet?
      141
    • Nottingham Forest 12–0 Leicester (1909) - Largest ever defeat
      15
    • Leicester 1–7 Sheffield Wednesday (1992) - League Cup humiliation
      0
    • Leicester 0–6 Leeds United (2001) - Another League Cup humiliation
      0
    • Leicester 1–6 Tottenham (2017) - We all try to forget this one!
      4
    • Porto 5–0 Leicester (2016) - English Champions getting spanked in Europe!
      0
    • Wolves 10–1 Leicester (1938) - A bizarre weird hammering I found in our records!
      0
    • Arsenal 8–0 Leicester (1934) - This one didn’t look pretty either!
      0
    • Leeds United 8–0 Leicester (1934) - We must have been really bad in 1934
      0
    • Everton 9–2 Leicester (1931) - Or just really bad pre WW2 in general.
      0
    • Harlow Town 1–0 Leicester (1980) - FA Cup defeat to non league.
      5
    • Newport County 2–1 Leicester (2019) - Horrific game, we couldn’t score, they shut the door.
      1
    • Leicester 0–5 Bolton Wanderers (2001) - I think Bolton were newly promoted and just hammered us!
      14
    • Leicester 1–2 Wycombe Wanderers (2001) - FA Cup Quarter Final, we’d been top of the league for ages. Fell off after this.
      26
    • Leicester 0–1 Shrewsbury Town (2014) - FA Cup - Pretty sure these were League 1 at the time.
      0
    • Leicester 0–5 Manchester City (1996 FA Cup) - Worst FA cup defeat, to a Manchester City side that were not owned by one of the worlds richest people.

Okay, loads of chat this week after we got humbled by the mighty Oxford United. So let’s have it, what do you think is our worst result ever?

Both home defeats this year in my opinion are the worst ever. The level we are at and the opposition.

Just compounds how bad its got ..... So far.

Not sure the Porto one should be anywhere near the list. 5-0 defeat in the champions league, think we'd take being anywhere near the champions League.

A key one I'd personally vote for is missing - 1-4 loss to Forest in the Cup under Rodgers. That was the true turning point for our club's entire trajectory, our modern day Wycombe moment. And to cap it all, we were utterly humiliated, knocked out as FA Cup holders by our local rivals with them a league below us, exposing all the worst aspects of possession for the sake of possession football, and showing up our squad for the shysters they are. I'm still pissed off at Luke Thomas looking like a deer in the headlights to this day, Djed Spence absolutely terrorised him and he shyed away from everything along many others. Somehow, he's still a regular for us half a decade on.

It's been 5 years now and that day was the butterfly's wing flapping to lead us to our Oxford and Burton spankings.

100 per cent this result

i genuinely would of sacked Rodgers at full time

It was a bad defeat,  but a game that didn't matter? In respect to our result...

Not that we wanted to lose 5-0 🤣

I don't get the vote for Oxford. We are in the same league. Both relegated last season.

Surely none league Harlow knocking us out the cup is way worse.

That Shrewsbury one was in the League Cup, and they were League Two, but nobody really cared considering we had just got back into the Premier League after more than a decade away.

Last Saturday was definitely the worst. A complete dismantling at home in a third-tier league game.

Worst ever, easily

I mentally rule out cup games. Anything can happen. See it every year. Man United losing in the 90s always cited but Palace lost to Macclesfield last year. It happens.

That said - the Forest FA cup loss was a sign and likely start of the monkey's paw curling

You missed Roma 1 Leicester 0 our chance to get to a European cup competition.final.  Our chance to get to the final and we blew it, an unmarked Tammy Abrahams from a corner.....to me that's our worst defeat.  All of the above are hammerings no doubt heavy defeats, but not necessarily our worst result.

That 12-0 defeat vs Forest was horrible. Remember it like yesterday.

I blame the pitch.

I blame the stag do the night before
