Worst possible result long term, win keeps the board sweet and Martin keeps his job for another month minimum despite proving today he is so far from being right man for the job it ridiculous. 
 

glad we won, hate this football and the manager and the defence a lot more than I did before.

Sounds like i missed an epic, we can score goals but still have a hopeless defence. Fantastic result against a decent stockport side. Deffo reaction performance that Martin would have wanted.

If we trip into a bit of form, it could help with any potential sale of the club…… and then potentially with new ownership would bring a longing for a new beginning, and a new manager to boot.

Ha, I’ve just watched it again- he turned on the line of the 18 yard box and struck the ball well inside the box, and not on the angle- so about 17 yards.
I was only focusing on the implication that all our goals were 20 yarders. Not strange at all to question exaggerations on FT-  mind there’s too many of them to on here to question!

 A lucky win , with encouraging signs from our new players it seems.

Thomas definitely. Souttar..  if he didn’t have such an awful defender besides him, he wouldn’t have to go for every header and  every tackle. He’d be able to stay in his lane and focus on his own job. Terrible game today but he’s having an awful lot of pressure put on him. Jury is out on him, for me. I mean, this is a team we played against who scored 4 goals in their last away game and 5 goals in their last home game. They have figured out how  to score in this league.
