Burns & Cullen In The Welsh Squad

So 2 more internationals to add to the list. Burns hasn't been in the Welsh squad for 2 years they must have been impressed with his performances for us. 😀

Have you seen the squad? Basically every attacking midfielder and forward eligible for Wales has been called up. I can only assume mine is still in the post tbh.

 

Brennan Johnson, Dan James, David Brooks, Harry Wilson and Kieffer Moore are like the main five. Four of those will start at 9, 10 and the wings. That's assuming he plays a front four, we've got up to A tier haven't we so we'll probably be expecting to get battered in all our matches although Bellamy is usually a bit more optimistic than that tbf. 

 

But then we've got no real depth out of those guys. Sorba Thomas is "OK", he does better for Wales generally than he does at club level. Especially if Moore is on the pitch, puts a good ball in. Broadhead is the opposite really, did ok for Ipswich but not really great for us. 

 

We'll be hoping Burns, Cullen and Harris are just back up to the backups really. Koumas, Congreave, Ashford and Colwill need the minutes really and they've all got potential to be decent where as the other lot are just your typical Wales EFL squad filler.
