Stadt Posted 1 October Posted 1 October Can you imagine how dispiriting it would be if you were a scout or analyst? Your suggestions rejected each time for another of the manager’s pustules 2
honeybradger Posted 1 October Posted 1 October We might be making this transfer because of a Louis Page injury. Just speculation but he wasn't in the England u19s squad yesterday. 1
mozartfox Posted 1 October Posted 1 October Cannot wait for Matt Elliot to say 'Smallbone on" when he comes on as a sub after 60 minutes.

adam Posted 1 October Posted 1 October How many players do we need? Already cant get some of the signings in the match day squad. he's crap as well.

Samilktray Posted 1 October Posted 1 October Looks like Voldemort, not the kind of vibes we need around the place 2
Chelmofox Posted 1 October Posted 1 October This is about as predictable as it gets. Never seen him play well, and dont find it that exciting to be honest.

Iwebema Posted 1 October Posted 1 October My only surprise is its taken until October to sign him. I assume he couldn't secure guaranteed championship football. 1

AjcW Posted 1 October Posted 1 October Guessing he played in the behind closed doors friendly? Naturally i'm sure we'll never hear a report from that

He's clearly going to be a symptom of the fact he's ex-Saints so will be shot down before he's kicked a ball. So up to him to prove a point
Leicester_Loyal Posted 1 October Posted 1 October Knew we'd sign him at some point, crap player for Saints during their Championship promotion season and will no doubt be another one we're stuck with for 3 years on high wages. When will this sillyness end?
whoareyaaa Posted 1 October Posted 1 October I'd rather we signed a better keeper smallbone is an average player not the worst though, seemed to be decent when ive seen him nothing to shout about though 1
Simonb Posted 1 October Posted 1 October Two big ifs... if the salary isnt ridiculous and if he can stay fit, then this is a very good signing for league one. Just dont want to be paying 10k a week plus for someone who will be using up medical resources at even more of a cost. Playing wise, he'd be right up there amongst the best in the division once he gets his fitness up and some playing time. Hoping it doesn't mean taking away some playing time from the youth though 1
LCFCCKEANO Posted 1 October Posted 1 October 28 minutes ago, TheGoldenGod said: Yup, great point! Squads bloated... Not commenting on Smallbones ability at all but purely depth wise this does make sense. 4 options for 2 defensive midfield spots, 3/4 options for the ten with a couple of those being able to play in attack. We think this is bloated because we haven’t had actual depth in a significant amount of time, we should have multiple players able to start in each position

I was relating this to the fact we're limited on bench spots in L1 with many players not being able to get a sniff in a matchday squad already. I wouldn't be signing any more players personally. Kinowe Soorie Posted 1 October Posted 1 October Let’s be about right, if he’s fit? He’ll piss this level.
