Unrelated to this but did you get round to watching Terrifier 2?

I find it sad that something which I believe is actually very tragic has been turned into some awful, low level exploitation cinema that will make an exorbitant amount of money. But like I said, some lap it up. I don’t find it funny at all. As if anyone would want to see that or find it funny.

I'm sure they will be donating some of the profits to ursine rehabilitation programs.

I think the violence in it is so over the top it doesn't really affect you that much as it's quite obviously fake.

Watched Amsterdam last night. Like a lot of films nowadays there's a good film in there struggling to get out, but it's 15-20 min too long and contains a lot of unnecessary weirdness that needed trimming.

5/10.

Just watching die hard for the first time. Has anyone seen this? I’m about an hour in and it makes no sense whatsoever. Seems proper shite but I’ve heard good things so will persist.

Not watched it for years.

My two kids 11 and 8 keep badgering me to watch it, obviously know there's a fair bit of violence and sure I watched it at that age but not sure whether to let them.

I can understand if you said "I dont like it"

But one thing 80's action movies are not, is confusing.

Terrorists take over a high rise on Christmas Eve.

John McClanes (cop) wife is one of the hostages.  He decides to rescue her.

Whats to understand?

You are either on the windup, or seriously watched the wrong movie.

The violence is tame compared to what they can see nowadays on TV

Just a warning - there is a brief nude scene (topless woman).  In case thats something you keep them away from.

Yeah I can't remember it being particularly graphic by today's standards.

They're not bothered by nudity!

Suppose it depends which Die Hard movie he was watching, I stopped after the third one, which was very good but you could tell it was beginning to play out, I think there was also a parody movie but I cant remember what it was called.

I'm surprised they have never re aired Moonlighting, since it was that show that catapulted him to fame in the first place, though thankfully his singing career ended after his rendition of Under the Boardwalklol

3rd one is okay - but also convoluted.  Ill watch it, but Im not really a fan of it

I love part 4.  Also complicated, but still a lot of fun.

Part 5 is trash, and doesn't exist in my world

From what I understand, Moonlighting used a lot of pop music during its initial run - which would make airing it again an extremely expensive proposition

It was a brilliant show though, 5 seasons I think of a dysfunctional detective agency with Bruce on one side and a hot blonde on the other, cant remember her name.
