Never seen When the Grinch stole Christmas watched it yesterday was really good surprised I've not seen it before, although anything with Jim Carey in is going to be good.

Also watched Cast Away which was quite good never seen it before either.

Got the new Avatar to watch later copy looks watchable.

I can't get on board with people who watch shitty cam filmed copies of films from the cinema. You only have to wait a few weeks now and you can get torrents in 4K and even HDR/DV ripped from streaming services.

I once borrowed a VHS pirate of  LOTR The Two Towers back in the day, and I gave it him back because it was unwatchable.

Tinker , Tailor, Soldier, Spy - loads of British talent in this but jeez it was slow

Loved it. Oldman is excellent. Period and genre inducing accuracy. I get why it could be seen as slow, it has a 'slow boil' intrigue to it. All very cagey and cold war espionage.

Exactly how I felt about Banshees Of Inishiren. Dull, dreary, and with a sour ending. Just a pointless film that doesn't really go any where, and has zero to do with In Bruges. Colin Farrell spends a lot of time asking if he's dull and if people like him. May as well have been the writer/director talking to the audience about his film.

Avatar 2 was outstanding and well worth the wait

Honestly wasn't that impressed. Yes visually it's stunning but the story line was a major disappointment. So many holes and for it to have taken so long to make, I would have thought it would be amazing.

Mike Hodges r.i.p screenwriter/ director of the greatest of Michael Caine's films and certainly one of the best UK films ever made, "Get Carter".

RIP indeed. Sad to hear.

Although - while Get Carter is great, and Michael Caine is brilliant in it, it's only the second greatest Michael Caine film, behind The Muppet Christmas Carol.

I tried to enjoy glass onion but couldn’t get past Daniel Craig’s bizarre accent.
It really got on my nerves for some reason.
