Planning to watch this one at the weekend. It does look like it should be really good.

I watched it. Worth a go. It is hard hitting as you would expect but somehow it was not as impressive as say an old film like Paths Of Glory or even the original version of All Quiet. Be interested on what others think

Isn't this the third adaptation?

Remember the old B+W version and the colour one with Ernest Borgnine.

Yes spot on though this is made by Germans for first time. It is dubbed on Netflix. Might be better in German with subtitles. Although well made I was a little disappointed.

The Saul Dibb version of Journey's End is a better film in my view.

Finally got around to watching Top Gun Maverick and Bullet Train on Bluray, found both to be entertaining, also got a dvd of a film I'd not seen since the 80's  Razorback, cant beat a corny Aussie horror about a giant man eating Boar :D

I've just watched Joker (Joachim Phoenix). I was aware of the criticism of it, how it divided opinion etc, but I enjoyed it. I found it far less trite/offensive then I was expecting. Not my favourite movie ever, for sure, but a worthwhile watch.

Ambulance is the most stupid, idiotic piece of shit film I’ve seen in my life.

Watched it today and honestly there was so much going on that I forgot what the film was about. Didn't see the point of the ending either

A typical Michael Bay film where dialogue is constantly muffled by ridiculously loud music and special effect noises. The upside is that the dialogue was pretty pointless anyway.

Rented Nope last night on Prime. Thought it was excellent. Not at all what I was expecting and I can see why sone people might have not liked it if they went in expecting a horror but loved it.

The Father stunning film, equal measure distressing and heartbreaking. Anthony Hopkins is simply brilliant. The structure of the film emphasising in stark reality what he is going through. Films don't get much better than this.

Watched the greatest beer run ever on Apple tv last night.

Not what I was expecting at all, expected a comedy, maybe a bit slapstick, but it was a war film really.

Gotta say I really enjoyed it, well worth a watch, 8/10

Apparently they've just wrapped the new Mad Max film so I don't really care about anything else at all now

But with no Max in it , not sure that’s going to work but I’ll give it a go

Till

True story about the mother of Emmett Tills search for justice, after her 14 yr old son was tragically killed for talking to a white woman in 1950s Mississippi.

Rough to watch.  Slow at times, but a good movie.
