Just praying we finish top. Got a baby on the way and opportunities for days out are dwindling. I need this you bastards (can't make a home quarter).

Not impressed by our spinners so far today too many poor balls and created very little pressure.

I've only watched a few overs but I wouldn't mind facing these spinners and I play champ 2

Looking like your prayers have been answered

Our run rate barely took a hit.

Need a close game from Surrey and Notts, preferably with a Surrey win and we have the home semi.

So what do we actually need to happen for a home semi?

Ideally we’d prefer Surrey to beat Notts & Somerset to beat Lancashire.

Should Notts and Lancashire win we would prefer them to win tight games, rather than there being a hammering anywhere. It’s pretty hard to work out exactly in all honesty.

Somerset to beat Lancs, Warks to beat Kent

And probably Surrey to beat Notts cos the run rate swing would have to be huge.

Even if Lancs and Notts win, they’d had to have a huge win, especially Lancs. Kent will do well to win and get above our run rate.

I've noticed the only sides we've beat in this competition are ones that have basically put there 2nds out. Come up against anyone any good and we lose. Knew we'd lose today when I saw their teamsheet. Sorry to piss on everyone's fireworks but just saying it how it is.

Surely the margin of victory for anyone to match our run rate would have to be astronomical?

I think it would be in all honesty.

Something daft like set 300+ and bowl a team out within 25 overs. I feel like NRR will benefit the team batting first even though it’s not supposed to.
