Sold my home 3 years ago, when the housing market was in full bloom.

Moved into a nice rental on the lake, which i share with a friend of mine.

Today I received a call that the owner of the unit has decided to sell it.

I knew it was always a possibility, but I'd just hoped it'd be later, rather than sooner.

Not looking forward to trying to find a new place and of course...actually moving.

Sucks, hope you find something that isn't a ripoff.

Is there the option for you to be a sitting tenant? New owner to rent it out for you to stay in?

Found out yesterday that my sons ex youth football manager now has stage 4 cancer. Marvelous bloke, and no way my son would have ever got into football without his support and guidance. Has a boy the same age as my son.

Terrible most worst is the age especially when still young. Weird thing is my mate is only 40, shes stopped smoking three years ago... but still gets cancer.

I'm actually not sure if it's being sold for someone who will live here or as an investment.

Something I will look in to.

Back in Leicester after 48 hours of not mentally expensive fun in the capital. Bit mad that drink and food don't seem any cheaper in Leicester now.

Had a great time, meeting up with old friends, bumping into a current one and was made up that the surprise guest at live Adam Buxton podcast recording we'd gone down for was Louis Theroux, result. Surprise musical guest was Richard Dawson, even better.

Only real disappointment was Sharia law barely being enforced, if at all

That’s because it’s a no-go zone, but you went. They’ll have had to cancel things and now be running double sharia laws all weekend.

It IS very much a no-go zone, but one you are allowed to go to and nobody minds, and in some ways that actually encourage you to go there by having a nice environment, public transport that works, hanging baskets outside corner pubs etc.

I'm all for no-go zones if they're like that

Saw foo fighters yesterday at London stadium with some guys from work. I’m not a massive fan really but they were amazing live, played for about 3 hours. Good venue for a gig but wouldn’t want to watch football there.

Very envious, they are one of my favourite bands.

Dave Grohl is second only to Nigel Pearson in men I would leave my husband in a heartbeat for, too.

Yeah they were great live and his energy was fantastic. Still prefer Pearson though

Went to A&E this morning, had trouble with breathing last of couple days felt like hot and cold in spells, didn't sleep all night. Arrived they said my oxygen was, after some tests nothing was found, but they put it down to allergic reaction. Not sure what though, they said could be the pollen, due to it being very high. Timed it right to go arrived at 6.30am by the time I left at 11am the place was packed compared to when I arrived when the place only had four people waiting. NHS take some big stick, but seem super organised and friendly. Maybe biased cause I work for them but I have nothing to do with Clinical side more admin, We need to protect these guys and give them more money. Much rather TV licence fund be scrapped and use that funds to make sure the nurses, cleaners, paramedics and porters get what they deserve.

Went out last night. Got on the bus to go home and a lad at the back was looking pretty worse for wear. His mate was getting worried as he was starting to drool and was passing out.

Me, his mate and another lad carried him off the bus and someone put him in the recovery position or something close to it. An ambulance was called.

A few minutes pass and those around him seem more concerned. It's not entirely clear what's happening but a young nurse gets off the bus and starts doing chest compressions. This goes on for a few minutes before the ambulance turns up. 3 staff get out and they spend several minutes doing chest compressions. I won't have been the only one who thought this lad had died in front of us.

Thankfully they got him to some sort of stable condition, got him in the ambulance and off to hospital around the corner.

And like that those helping got back on the bus and off we went. Hopefully he's OK. His poor mate, the nurse who can't have been much older than 20 and a couple others will be traumatised I imagine. It was overwhelming.

Smashed my PB and sold 5 cars today. Not enough hours in the day.

I've been working at this place for 6 months now and thoroughly enjoying it.

And which undersea volcano will you be buying?

I’ve got less than 12 months on a PCP, Tom. What do you reckon I do? Hand it back, buy it, trade it? If I bought it I’d be using credit.

Only ever hand it back as a last resort if you've got negative equity. Feel free to pm me with some details and I can try to advise you on what the best decision would be
