Leicester City goalkeeper Alex Cisak has today joined Blue Square North side Tamworth on loan until the end of the season.

Cisak, who is a Polish youth international, has progressed through the ranks at the Walkers Stadium and was awarded his first professional contract in the summer.

He enjoyed a loan spell at Oxford United earlier in the season. Tamworth face Burscough Town at Victoria Park next Tuesday.

Sounds like the start of a journey into footballing oblivion.

Yes I was thinking that. Though with the competition here if he is any good he could make our bench. TBH not sure any of the keepers we own are up to much Hendo, Logan, Rab and Neilson are all a bit suspect

He'll be pleased to read that.

Aren't you constantly on at anyone who is less than wildly opimistic to the verge of lunacy about the club's prospects?

Do you not like him as he has a foreign name?

Rather he went to a football league club to be honest.

When it comes to goal keepers I don't think it matters. A shot's a shot and a cross is a cross.

Good move for the lad, should give him some confidence and some time to improve. Definitely a good move for him but i'd prefer him on the bench to Henderson.

How old is he? Didn't he used to post on here a while ago?

I know he used to post on here. He added me on msn from here <_<

Cisak is a good prospect. He was held up by a long-term injury last season. He is tall and commanding, and I believe has the potential to be a good keeper at Championship level.

The problem is the club simply has had too many keepers, and have needed to keep some of the higher paid players in the frame to keep the interest of other clubs. This has been to the dertriment of the development of our young keeper.

Cisak should be way too good for Conference North!

Best of luck to him

He's at Tamworth until the end of the season.

This meens if Hendo gets injured before Alnwick gets back its the return of Big Rab. I can hardly contain my excitement at the prospect.

It was Pentney that was the second Keeper in the warm up on Saturday
