The Defiant Ones - phenomenally good 4 part documentary on Dr Dre and Jimmy Iovene and the journey to becoming hip hops first billionaires. Highly recommend

Vegas Strip - Real life cop thing on Netflix.Not in the mood for anything I have to concentrate on.

 

It's been over 20 years since I went,  I can't remember it being that seedy.

Mission mudder from last week.

 

olympic / commonwealth athletes take on toughest mudder. An 8 hour over night event. I did tough mudder earlier this year and it was brilliant. 11 miles, 24 obstacles. 

 

Good show so far in episode 1

If I understand correctly...the 2nd part was only aired this week.

Heard about it but never watched it, until now. I think that work should be robotised but also that companies using robots should be taxed a lot more. Menial work should be phased out as much as possible and people trained to do more interesting work.

A then-live footage documentary, from those who escaped the tragedy, of 9/11.

 

It does feel longer than 16 years, and still can't really believe it happened..

Watched a different one like this one before and still quite stunned in watching this unfold, a decade and a bit after, by it all.

Long time since i watched this... im still gutted and amazed. For anyone under 25.... we didnt always live with this absurd terrorist world, we Bush/USA created it.

It didn't ..  it was all filmed by Warner Bros in studio 11B under the instruction of the CIA ...   studio 11A was where the moon landings were filmed ....   and incidentally there wasn't actually a WW2 ..  that was all dreamt up by an old bloke from Wolverhampton who was a bit bored one day and after he posted it online it went viral ...

Fascinating to witness how David Lynch interacts with cast and crew. A bit like director's film school 101.
