Just started season 1 of Hannibal. Seems to get a lot of good reviews but looking at it from the outside it just seemed abit too cable tv "Dexter done in the style of CSI".

Watched the first episode and half of the second. Seems OK but still quite "CSI". Some of the way they link the clues and come up with their theories just seem abit fake and unrealistic. I've got **** all to watch in the evening so will probably give it a few more episodes. Need the Boys to hurry up.

The Chasers Road Trip on ITV (and going back and forth to the Tottenham v Liverpool game).

Very intriguing series so far.

I only got around to watching season 1 recently, think it first aired in 2017, really enjoyed it though. Haven't started season 2 yet.

Just started watching series 4 of  Fauda on netflix ,absolutely hooked ( feel a binge coming on ) .

Enjoyed watching it at the time ( about a year ago). Would find it more difficult to watch now because of current events.

Very interesting  and of course  valid  angle , potentially  a rabbit hole if other fiction was viewed similarly  though.

Although filmed from the Jewish  side it doesn't  particularly  portray  the Israeli  ' Defence ' Force favourably,  but that's part of a far larger discussion  for another  day.

You are right, it is a warts and all from the Israeli perspective.  Thing is, at least two of the main actors including the Doron character have taken part in Israeli actions, since the Hamas attack and one of them the guy who played Sagi was seriously injured demolishing  tunnels last month.  It is quite a unique scenario and to say it blurs the line between fiction and reality is an understatement.

Thanks for the insight into the  actors , I really had no idea - your summary of this series  is spot on too.

Just stumbled across an episode of Kenny Everett’s Video Show. (Ask your parents, kids).

Probably from 1979, judging by the music on there.

Enjoyed it way more than I probably should.

Happy.

Just popped this Daley Thompson thing on,. presumably on iPlayer too. 10 mins in it's fantastic.

Any kid of the 80s will find this fascinating

If it's about the button mashing, keyboard breaking, joystick wreaking game that was Ocean's Daley Thompson's Decathlon (turn the cassette over for the next five events!) I'm in!

I'm going to go on record here as say The Acolyte is the best Star Wars TV series to date.

I just wish Disney would stop mucking around with the lore.

I met Frank Dick recently and he mentioned this was really good.
