Hotels that don't have plug sockets near to the bed.

It is annoying. I have a feeling they do it for safety reasons though, like people leaving a drink on the bedside table, knocking it over and it spilling into the socket, which would knock the electrics out for other guests?

People who let their dogs run & jump up to you and then say “don’t worry they are harmless” how about keep your dog on a lead if you can’t control it, as how am I supposed to know they won’t bite me. Cvnts

Agreed 100%. Perhaps you dont want to touch a dog/animal or you that you are allergic to them (their hair).

The worst one is “oooh… sorry… he doesn’t usually do that…”

Great, now it’s my fault for being suspicious somehow or smelling funny.

It’s their tendency to sniff other dogs bums that I can’t tolerate

Agreed!

They may be harmless but I also don't want their drool and slobber all over me. Disgusting.

When a tennis player wins a grand slam they feel the need to drop to the floor, its become the default celebration any other options surely?

In Raducanu's case its understandable. Making history, never won a Grand Slam before, under huge pressure, the entire country watching. It was just an emotional release. Us normal people don't really understand what it's like for them.

As so many do it, I'm guessing it's a natural reaction to some. It's a release, you're tired mentally and physically, you're forcing yourself to battle through that and the doubt, and the nerves etc.

One of the reasons I run so early in the AM, so I avoid people and dogs. If your dog comes chasing after me or running up to me I am not going to stop and ruin my running momentum - but neither do I want to smash my knee into its face whilst my legs are going.

I tend to take it in good humour most of the time, but I'd definitely have it out with someone if they got grumpy.

Equally I do like it when dogs are so well trained off lead they aren't arsed about my presence, or the owners who stop and hold their dog back (either on or off-lead) because they're just generally courteous or aware of their dog.

So fookin what !!! ….

Tbf it's handy for paramedics at a crash site but I don't think most people really use them with that in mind, the novelty ones can get straight in the bin.

Well paid football journalists who give their ‘marks’ for how players performed. This pile of sh1te was from the Telegraph this morning ..  according to him Maddison was rated the same as Grealish and (imo MOTM) Vestergard was the worst player on the pitch !!

These are almost certainly done by some intern or assistant who wasn't actually at the game. Vestergaard came off early which doesn't happen often for centre backs so he must have been having a stinker, Silva scored so he must have been the best, standard 6 or 7 for everyone else.

People working from home.

Apart from a few months at the beginning of the Coivd outbreak we've been back in the office full time. I don't think anyone here enjoyed the experience of WFH.

The amount of extra work and hand holding we are having to do because we're dealing with people who are working in their kitchen/spare room who don't seem to have access to information, their full systems or are waiting for a colleague to come off a zoom call to ask them a simple question, instead of just turning to them in the office is ridiculous.

All I seem to be hearing is the self justification of  "Oh we can work from home, there's no need to go back to commuting the office".......yes you may be working from home but you're not doing it very well !

Livid over and out! I feel better for venting!

Wfh isn't for everyone, which is fine.

But for some individuals and employers it can be very beneficial after the initial teething periods...

Oh I know, it just seems those we deal with on a day to day basis would make our lives here a lot easier if they were back in the office.

Absolutely! I keep my dog on a lead because she's NOT harmless. That's not to say she's vicious, but she gets nervous and defensive when other dogs approach in that way.

Yes, their dog might be harmless, but if it jumps up in my dogs face, while she's on a short lead by my side, and my dog bites yours in what she deems to be self defence, don't come bitching to me about vet bills! (That actually happened once)

I think it's fine if the employer supports the member of staff WFH in full, but some of the time they seem to just have a laptop and a notepad and say "here you go!" and expect the same results

Also takes the right type of person - I'd get distracted way too easily at home to be of any benefit to anyone lol

That was us!! :D
