The shit farmers are getting all because the green eyed monster sees asset wealth despite the industry being cash poor.

Isn’t passing on land a moot point with regards to actual wealth if the off spring retain that land to farm which is probably what they will do, why do we want them to have to sell to pay inheritance tax until there is nothing to sell and our countryside and ability to naturally produce our own food is covered in bricks and mortar?

Principal? yeah lets fight for payrises of industries that provide a bad service, lets give bonuses to industries to get their employees to work 5 days week etc.

Regardless of farming type they receive pennies in the pound for the graft they put into producing food for our plates, glasses and exports.

A cattle farmer will tend to a cow from birth to slaughter yet receive little over double for the entire cow than a chef in london will charge for a single steak meal, a steak they have had for under 12hrs but let’s all rise up & be sad when a restaurant has to close its doors.

What is it they say will happen when the bee becomes extinct?

Likely food web and multiple knockon extinctions.

But considering the current track record for humanity and species extinction, it would be par for the course.

Tbf, modern farming practices are the main cause of bee decline.

Just one part of human activity responsible for the current extinction event, more's the pity.

That being said, it would be really nice if there wasn't a massive human population crash either, so hopefully a balance can be reached.

Car parking extortion. I parked at the Holiday Inn from 5.30pm to 9.30pm and it cost nearly £15. How is that even justifiable.

I've only ever parked in the city for a few evening games. Newarke St, 5pm to 10.30pm is about £3!

This is a really short sighted argument probably dictated to you by the right wing media and your own lack of knowledge.

Any inheritance tax paid will be largely due to ignorance or incompetence.

It's ridiculously easy to get around especially if they want to ensure the farm stays in the family.

Don't fall for all the faux anger and misinformation.

Oh god this!!! When you realise your defeated and you are not going to speak to a human, you end up with the useless AI and if your problem is not listed on the 5 generated options your fvcked. It took me hours trying to sort something out that was a common problem but no option. You cannot win.

And yes Amazon

Nowadays with Amazon I don't even bother trying to engage. Any issues and I action a "hasn't arrived" return thingy. And they either replace or refund pretty quickly as it's all computer systems that that sort those requests.

I'm amazed by the Amazon service complaints ( human rights abuses I can see). Whenever I've had an Amazon issue, straight to live chat usually resolved in under 10 minutes

Recently bought a kettle from my local small town retailer, trying to support local businesses, the kettle failed after three months took to shop, they refused to replace or refund told me I have to deal with manufacturer... ludicrous.

Fvck that small business you deserve to close

Appreciate the rules might be different there but here, the retailer is responsible.

Rules are similar here and he has been reported to ACCC.

Hahahaha, you surely cannot be regularly buying from Amazon!!!

You do know they're owned by a billionaire, exploit workers through a complex value chain and are an environmental disaster??

Yeah even I refuse to use Amazon and generally I'm not that bothered about buying ethically. Maybe if there's something I need quick like a certain type of battery and I can't find it in town.

Given the absolute grief they've caused me professionally over the years I can get behind this statement.

Closest I've come to understanding how someone can throw a little one out the window is when my 2 year old with a runny nose sneezed directly into my face.

Little germ ridden buggers.

I cut my right hand index finger yesterday and had to put a plaster on it.  24 hrs later still have a vivid red line through the top of my pinkie, which means I can’t use it to gain digital access to various on line accounts.  Now trying to remember passwords I haven’t used for ages!  1st world problems eh! 😡
