having a large mouthful of tea with gone off milk

I hate that.

Also.. putting a wool jumper on the wrong cycle. Just because they're first world problems doesn't make them hurt less.

Imagine taking a large mouthful of tea with gone-off milk, instinctively spitting it down your woolly jumper - and then washing that jumper on the wrong cycle.

I'd feel compelled to run away and join Islamic State for an easy life!

Yes so i have to toast it just a little so the middle is nicely toasted and the ends are slightly brown. The toaster was a house moving gift but we already had one. It broke last week so got the new one out. Luckily i rarely have toast but used it this morning and it just pissed me off

Why not just cut the slice of bread in half?

Because then you have four halves of bread from your two slices and it takes twice as long to use a two slice toaster. And the slices are then so small that they get lost in the toaster. Half an inch un-toasted at the end is the lesser of two evils. Breaks my heart.

Cookworks are the worst for this kind of behaviour.

Slice a bit off and just accept a smaller but more well toasted piece of bread.

Collect the offcuts to feed to local wildlife.

You're turning into Ozleicester.

Our toaster is pretty shit, and all too often the top of the bread is sticking out the top.  Mind you, it was cheap (present from Mother-in-law, so must have been) and I can forgive a lot of its misdemeanors as it has a CRUMB TRAY.

If your toaster doesn't have a crumb tray you might as well just give up on life, frankly

I hate our toaster, it must take 10 minutes to do a slice.I put the toast in first and I've managed to poach 2 eggs before it pops up.

I use the grill I find it much more satisfying a toasting experience.

I use the toaster for bagels though and it works a treat. good times.

That advert (think it's Money Supermarket) with the large bloke in stilettos and denim shorts. Put me off high heels for life.

Yeah I'll never wear them again after seeing that!

Not as bad as seeing something funny when on the laptop and you spit it all over the screen.

I've learnt how to do toast on the Aga. No problems with sticky-out-bits there. And you get a nice criss-cross pattern on your toast. :D
