Blimey this is incredible to watch, wasn't sure I'd see this level of tennis from Murray ever again so I'm just going to enjoy every minute of it

Match may have been lost when he had 2 set points at the end of the 2nd for 2-0 but at 2-2 (well nearly) now he still has a chance, but either way a great performance and effort.

Hope he does it, but fear he won't.

Colossal effort from Andy but I feel he missed the boat tonight, he should have won that in straights.

Certainly in 4, Tsitsipas was poor, lot of unforced errors.

Murray was brilliant considering he is a veritable OAP and has a metal hip, he must be really encouraged, just needs to win some matches and get a run going and improve the ranking.  The serve looks well improved though.  Good Luck AM!!

Great win for Raducanu, can Mountsorrels Boulter make it 3 Brits in the 2nd round?

She looks to me like she has some proper steel to her, can see her getting very high in the rankings.

Wtf is this sad-act salty behaviour?

Yeah he needs to be the bigger person in this and its a bit smalltime. Roger, Rafa and Novak probably wouldnt entertain it and Andy probably wouldn't have done it at his peak.

I'd agree, although Tsitipas does tend to make a habit of this in matches.

Probably just got chronic cystitis though so maybe we should give him a break.

There’s background to this. Lots of players are unhappy about Tsitipas’s behaviour over a period of time. He trained a lot with Novak before the tournament and I am sure they will have discussed Novak’s experience with him so it would have been something he was looking out for. Typical of Andy to vocalise it more than most though.

I'm on the fence with this one.

Yeah, this is probably unbecoming of a top-level player, but as others have said this isn't the first time Tsitipas has pulled stuff like this so someone should be calling him out on it.

Regarding the 'bathroom breaks' there needs to be a maximum time for these. They are becoming used by many players as a tactic to break rhythm of the opponent. who remains on court noy knowing at what time the opponent will finish the break. There is a time limit for players in serving which is not only fair to the opponent, but particularly important for spectators. For a men's match, for example, each player can have two breaks in between sets. Therefore, it would be quite possible for there to be over 30 minutes between sets over the course of a match. This is not fair for the spectators, and, until there is a regulation, will become unattractive for broadcasters. Their viewers have a chance to tune out, so the value of broadcasting rights diminishes.

I can see no reason why a break should be longer than 3-4minutes which would allow time to change kit (if necessary) and take a bathroom break. I also think only one breaks can be allowed if the purpose is meant to be for 'the bathroom'; for a professional sportsman any 'problem' is likely to be ensure adequately hydrated for optimum performance.

I'm a bit flabbergasted that anyone is saying with a straight face that 7 minutes is too long for a toilet break.  If it's in the middle of a set I could maybe see the argument about it being disruptive but come on, let the guy take a shit or whatever.

I'm guessing the issue is that people are rightly sceptical that a player genuinely needs to go for a Brad twice during every match.

So Andy waits until he loses to start kicking up a fuss about it?

Oh don't get me wrong, I thought he made himself look a mug too. I can see why it's annoying and poor form but also that there's no ideal way to legislate against it because every so often someone will actually need it.

I've heard of a Todd but not a Brad, is that what they are all these days?
