She conducts herself so well and the crowds love her. If she develops in the way we hope, I can honestly see her receiving Federer levels of adoration over the years ahead

Apart from talent, personality, looks, youth and wealth Emma hasn't got much going for her, poor thing.

Don't forget intelligence as well. A* in Maths and A in Economics in her recent A Levels as well. A sponsor's dream. She literally has it all. Just hope she has good people around her to help her cope with the money and fame that are going to follow.

A qualifier in the final and she hasn’t even dropped a set, this is surreal. She really could win this

For me, she's favourite. At Wimbledon it was only the pressure that got to her.

I've been watching tennis since the early sixties and I've seen very few that good at so early an age who had such a complete game, such athleticism and such a vibrant personality.

To be called a tennis great requires a long and trophy-rich career. Maybe she'll achieve that but, even if she does a Hingis or a Clijsters, she's already demonstrated that she's a phenomenal player with the potential to become the best British player ever.

Does anyone know if the final will be televised tomorrow evening?

I tried to watch the quarter finals a couple of days ago, but couldn’t find it on any of the Sky channels.

Now it's who holds their nerve best in the final.

I know these young ladies don't really show it but I'm expecting a pretty error heavy final and it'll be who holds it together most.

Both incredible young women but obviously hope our girl brings it home

Women's tennis can often have surprises but this is incredible. An absolute star.

Probably because its on Prime but this should be huge news. Probably made the run easier for her though to be honest.

Great run by the other finalist too to be fair, but hope Emma can get the job done tomorrow. I'm definitely a part time tennis watcher and don't seek any of it out, but will be watching tomorrow night.

Apparently this final will be the first time in her life that she has been bookies' favourite to win the match!

Pretty remarkable, plus she has only ever played 12 matches at slam level. Winning 9 losing 3, and now she has a serious chance of winning it.

And even more remarkable, she has only played 2 other matches at WTA level - and lost them both.  She's been in challengers and lower ranking tournaments apart from that.  This is only her fourth full tournament.

Role model. Incredible stuff. So much admiration and respect for what she's achieving. The belief and mental strength required to get this far, without even losing a set? Crazy, crazy good.
