Kilworthfox Posted 2 October 2010 Posted 2 October 2010 Ikeme 7 Could do nothing about the goal Berner 7 better Hobbs 8 Awesome in the air Morrison 7 better Vitor 6 made a few mistakes, but did ok Dyer 7 worked hard Wellens 9 One of his best ever displays for LCFC, quality performance King 7 Good going forward, goes missing in defence Gally 7 Played well without any great effect Waghorn 8 he's back Howard 8 led the line very well Subs Abe 6 Not at his best Moussa 7 A goal helps, looked positive
ScouseFox Posted 2 October 2010 Posted 2 October 2010 Ikeme 4 Berner 7 Hobbs 7 Morrison 7 Vitor 8 Dyer 7 Wellens 8 King 6 Gallagher 7 Howard 7 Waghorn 8 Subs- Abe 6 Moussa 7
The Doctor Posted 2 October 2010 Posted 2 October 2010 Ikeme - 6 - Average Vitor - 7 - Looked good, willing to get foward, got the ball back on numerous occasions Hobbs - 7 - Looked a lot more comfortable than at anytime under sousa Morrison 7 - same as hobbs Berner - 7 - same as hobbs Dyer - 8 - Good work for his goal but should have done better with the chance he had moments earlier Wellens - 8 - Better King - 7 - Alright, not his best from this season though Gallagher - 7 - Better Howard - 7 - Should have scored but worked his socks off as usual Waghorn - 8 - Brilliant Subs: Abe - 7 - A few good touches but never really imposed himself on the game Moussa - 8 - What a finish!
Webbo Posted 2 October 2010 Posted 2 October 2010 Ikeme 7 Never understood the animosity towards him, seems competent to me. Berner 7 Hobbs 7 Morrison 7 Vitor 7 Dyer 7 He's had better games this season without scoring Wellens 7.5 Pick of the midfielders today. King 6 Little impact Gallagher 6 Little impact Howard 7 worked hard Waghorn 7 worked hard Subs- Abe 5 gave the ball away a lot. Moussa not on long enough tbf. Took his goal well.
Messi Posted 2 October 2010 Posted 2 October 2010 Ikeme 7 Vitor 7 Morrison 8 Hobbs 8 Berner 7 Gallagher 7 Wellens 9 King 8 Dyer 8 Waghorn 8 Howard 8 Subs: - Moussa 7 - Yuki 5
Kent Posted 2 October 2010 Posted 2 October 2010 Ikeme 6 - Didn't have loads to do Berner 7 Hobbs 8 - Dominant in the air Morrison 7 Vitor 7 Dyer 7 - No quality runs but goal bumps it up Wellens 8 - Thought he had a good game King 6 - Average Gallagher 6 - Average Howard 8 - Spurred the team on, good work rate and heading Waghorn 7 - Good finish for his goal, worked quite hard
Corky Posted 2 October 2010 Posted 2 October 2010 Ikeme- 6 (Dealt with everything) Vitor- 7 (Looked in control at right-back) Morrison- 7 (Back to his dominant self) Hobbs- 7 (Same as Morrison, gave Forte nothing) Berner- 7 (Solid) Gallagher- 6 (Struggled to make an impact) Wellens- 8 (In control today, good match) King- 5 (Not his best) Dyer- 6 (Struggled today, good goal though) Waghorn- 7 (Worked hard, clinical finish, should've buried another chance) Howard- 6 (Not as influential as before) Abe- 5 (One lovely flick, slow to the pace of the game) Moussa- 6 (Super finish)
Father Ted Posted 2 October 2010 Posted 2 October 2010 Ikeme 6 - He's really not any improvement on Logan. Vitor 6 - Looked shaky at times and imo was at fault for their goal, he shouldn't have let their winger cut inside. Morrison 7 - The old Morrison. Hobbs 8 - The Hobbs we know. Berner 7 - Solid. Dyer 7 - Livewire, can't seem to last more than an hour though in a match... Wellens 8 - Ran the middle, I did say Sousa would regret dropping him for the Portsmouth match. King 7 - Was quiet today but nonetheless some neat touches and a cracking run at one stage when he was brought down. Gallagher 6.5 - Liked seeing him back, gave us that bit of quality that was lacking. Didn't look match fit though. Waghorn 7.5 - That's why you play him up front Sousa. Howard 8 - Lynchpin of the team. Won nearly all of his headers. Moussa 6.5 - Well taken goal. Abe 6 - Didn't look great, nearly cost us at one point when he lost the ball in a dangerous position. Powell/Stowell 8 - Got it spot on today apart from Ikeme. Top guys who know the club well. Give them the job!
dandannieldanok Posted 2 October 2010 Posted 2 October 2010 Ikeme 5 Vitor 6 (Did a solid defensive job) Morrison 7 (Pretty comfortable and content) Hobbs 8 (Dominant first half, withstood all that Scunny threw at us in the second) Berner 6 (Not a particularly busy day, did fine) Gallagher 7 (Some very good things, some not so good. Grabbed an important assist) Wellens 7.5 (Battled hard, didn't get on the ball much because of the tactics but played well) King 5 (Tactics didn't suit him) Dyer 6 (Wasn't given the ball often enough to make an impact) Howard 6 (Won most his aerial battles, didn't amount to much though) Waghorn 6 (Needs some new boots! kept falling over. Good finish for his goal, still short of form in my opinion) Abe 4 (Way off the pace of the game, looked lost) Moussa 7 (Really good finish)
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 2 October 2010 Posted 2 October 2010 Ikeme 5 Berner 7 Hobbs 7 Morrison 7 Vitor 7 Dyer 7 Wellens 8 King 7 Gallagher 7 Howard 7 Waghorn 7.5 Subs- Abe 6.5 Moussa 7
davieG Posted 2 October 2010 Posted 2 October 2010 Ikeme 5 Berner 5 Hobbs 6 Morrison 6 Vitor 5 Dyer 6 Wellens 7 King 6 Gallagher 6 Howard 5 Waghorn 7 Subs- Abe 4 Moussa 6 Powell 8 for hugging the linesman although theoretically he could be banished to the stand for the next few games for entering the field of play.
Thracian Posted 2 October 2010 Posted 2 October 2010 Ikeme 5 (Didn't have much to do but his kicking was inaccurate and thoughtless, he rarely commanded the box and I wasn't impressed at all). Vitor 6 (Unconvincing to me. Not tight enough at times, not fast enough to pass the ball when he won it and showed a curious habit of turning his back on the ball when he sometimes went to head it.) Morrison 6.5 (No better than average) Hobbs 7 (Our best defender. Tight, no nonsence performance) Berner 6 (I thought they were allowed to deliver far too many crosses from the right later on and he offered very little going forward.) Gallagher 6 (Such sloppy ball control on occasions, rarely relishes a tackle and was largely just a Joe Average fringe player). Wellens 7 (Industrious and committed as he has been most of the time when I've seen him this season) King 7 (Simple but selfless assist for Moussa's goal and one or two delightfully deft passes that might have brought us greater reward. Almost scored with a header early on and created what might easily have been another goal at the end when he robbed their dawdling defender.) Dyer 8 (One goal, one assist and a potential nightmare for Scunny had he been given more of the ball. Matchwinning performance for me). Waghorn 7 (Much welcome first goal, nicely taken, but squandered a sitter and might well have done better on one or two other occasions as well. Ran out of juice well before the end like one or two others. But a constant danger for all that and should have won a penalty). Howard 6 (Needs to convert his chances - he gets so many. Missed one seemingly certain goal by somehow screwing the ball right across the goal from yards out but should have got far more free-kicks from the way his markler was constantly climbing all over him.) Subs: Moussa 7 (Took his goal well and looked involved in his short cameo). Yuki 5 (I've yet to be impressed. Played out of position today and seemed to be trying too hard to impress by taking too many touches and trying to be creative in situations that were far too risky. He's clearly got skill but is finding it hard to adjust to the sharpness of English football.) Referee: Poor - and seemed to ignore instances of handball and at least one clear penalty. We really seem to be up against it this season when it comes to referees. Powell/Stowell 7 (Chose the right side and got the right result but how hard they contrived to make it for us in the end. Not a performance to remember and I didn't see that Yuki's arrival added anything). Overall: I don't know about trips to Thailand - we need to get much fitter and much more organised. Once again our free-kicks failed to find the target...it is such a waste...and we brought pressure on ourselves by fail to close down quickly in the later stages. There is so much to work on it's embarrassing for a professional club.
Fox92 Posted 2 October 2010 Posted 2 October 2010 Ikeme 6 - Distribution is horrible. Nothing he could do with the goal though. Berner 7 Hobbs 8 - Back to his best. Morrison 8 - A missed header during the first half. Other than that, a better and solid performance. Vitor 7 Dyer 8 Wellens 9 - Ran the game. King 6 Gallagher 6 - Poor touch today, didn't really excel throughout the game. Howard 8 - Battling ram. Waghorn 7 - Great goal. Goes down to easy at times though.

C-man Posted 2 October 2010 Posted 2 October 2010 Not really sure how Wellens 'ran the midfield' when for the last half an hour we hardly had a kick and allowed Josh Wright the freedom of the Walkers from their goal onwards. Thought he misplaced a lot of passes (as usual) too. In fairness to him he was tenacious (as usual) and committed. Ikeme - 5 (Is this guy for real?) Berner - 6 Hobbs - 7 Morrison - 6 Vitor - 5 (Really unconvinced. Good-ish on the ball but ever so weak and allowed too many crosses to be delivered (perhaps not entirely fair considering he's apparently playing out of position)) Dyer - 8 Wellens - 6 King - 5 (Not at his best by any means but grabbed an assist at the end. As mentioned the tactics didn't help him and I thought he was part of the problem defensively as he didn't (or wasn't told to) press high enough up the field) Gallagher - 7 (Thought he bailed out Vitor on more than one occassion. He's been criticised for his defensive work in the past but today he was very good in that department. Didn't offer enough going forward, save for his first minute cross that King squandered) Waghorn - 7 (Great finish for his goal but should have scored his one-on-one) Howard - 6

ozleicester Posted 2 October 2010 Posted 2 October 2010 Ikeme 6, did all he needed to. Berner 7 Impressed, a controlled well drilled game Hobbs 8 Ahhhh, back to form, i heard he and PS had a big bust up...would perhaps explain Hobb's form lapse last few games. Morrison 7 Looked good, He is doing well this year. Vitor 6 didnt seem to be completely at ease at any time, lucky to Have gallagher support on a few occcasions. Dyer 7 worked hard and ran his legs off, tired a little early though Wellens 8 controlled the middle, a top game King 6 was good in patches, seemed to drift in and out of the game a little too much Gally 5 seemed completely out of step, tried hard and helped out at the back, first touch was poor, just not the gally of usual. Waghorn 7 worked hard, ran plenty, fell over a little to much, but a great game Howard 8 worked hard did all he could Subs Abe 5 disapointing...did not seem to settle into the pace at all Moussa 7 Cant go wrong when you score..but not much else was offered. Powell/Stowell 7 great result... CP was a pleasure to watch in the warm up and on the touchline, less attractive game, but got the result. Ref 6 unobtrusive for most of the game Crowd (1st half, west stand ) 2... OMG was i really at a football match? ..............(2nd half, SK1) 7........... great effort by the Fosse boys.
Jimothy Posted 2 October 2010 Posted 2 October 2010 Thought at times in the first half Vitor looked like a competition winner who'd won the chance to play for his favourite team.
ithuriel Posted 2 October 2010 Posted 2 October 2010 Some poeple are saying Gally did not have a good game but he was bloody good today, they really got at us when he departed and Abe took his place on the wing. Ikeme is most certainly not good enough for the first team, Weale still injured ?
hackneyfox Posted 3 October 2010 Posted 3 October 2010 Morrison 7 Looked good, He is doing well this year. Sorry but ffs
rtukuk Posted 3 October 2010 Posted 3 October 2010 Ikeme - 6 DIdn't have too much to do, kicking was not accurate but showed power in a big kick Vitor - 6 Played well in first half, appeared to tire in second Morrison - 7 Hobbs - 8 Berner - 7 Not ouststanding but solid enough Gallagher - 6 Hot and cold game Wellens - 8 MOM King - 67Always looks like he will score and gets chances Dyer - 7 Becoming a better all round player Howard - 7 Waghorn - 7 Looked tired in second half, needs to focus more on getting goals to be great after a couple of wasted opportunities (not leaning backwards when shooting) but looked a different player playing up front ........................ Abe - 5 Looked porr and out of palce ont he wing, didn't know where to go, but better in centre midfield, nice passer Moussa - 7 Everyone got stuck in it was a totally different team. I think this shows that removing Sousa was 100% the right decision.
