Albums you haven't listened to for ages but then when you do listen to them you wonder why you didn't listen to them for ages

Slightly off topic but kind-of related. I put my mp3 player on shuffle the other day - there's 5671 tracks on there - and I kept having to check-out what was playing because I didn't recognise it!

On topic though I'm playing All Together Now by Argent. First album I ever bought back in 1972!!

Yes! Kinky Afro just about changed my life. When I was 12 my sister's then boyfriend gave me cassette of this album. I remember putting it in the tape player... that synth riff, the bass and drums and that hypnotic guitar riff. Then the lyrics.... "sooooooooonnn I'm 30....."

Nothing was ever the same again.

Favourite Worst Nightmare, every songs brilliant on it.

Massive Arctics fan and I'd agree. Personally think 'Humbug' is their worst, but the rest are all brilliant.

Omfg how good is Relationship of Command?

And one for Large Al, Colony?

I've just made myself a five hour nostalgia playlist featuring ATDI, In Flames, AFI (up to Sing The Sorrow, no later), early Offspring and more. Buzzing.

Not everyone's cup of tea after the likes of The Bends & OK Computer but I really enjoyed this album. One of their best, up there with In Rainbows & OK Computer imo.
