Bert Posted 10 November 2010 Posted 10 November 2010 Weale. Naughton Cunningham Hobbs Davies Gallagher Dyer Wellens King Howard Waghorn. Subs: Logan Morrison Berner Moussa Abe Fryatt Vassell
OriginalRobboFOX Posted 10 November 2010 Posted 10 November 2010 Yeah Vassell looked a bit lost tonight and not sharp enough. Dyer needs to be in the 11 that's for sure.
Corky Posted 10 November 2010 Posted 10 November 2010 I'd go with that Bert. Is Vitor definitely out then?
MattyFromLE Posted 10 November 2010 Posted 10 November 2010 Agree! I think Dyer should start, although - i think Howard is better as an impact sub, if all else fails = route one!
hackneyfox Posted 10 November 2010 Posted 10 November 2010 Sven seemed to think Vitor would be available. Bert You pointed out Dyer's shortoming earlier, do you think that Vasell is not fit enough for another game in 2 days time?
Wymsey Posted 10 November 2010 Posted 10 November 2010 Not putting my team selection in. After the so-called crap performance tonight, i do hate to look at the players we currently have.
tetly Posted 10 November 2010 Posted 10 November 2010 The same as berts team with fryatt instead of waghorn give him a rest and fryatt a chance.
LCFCkid Posted 10 November 2010 Posted 10 November 2010 Weale Naughton Davies Vitor if fit/if no Hobbs Cunningham Gallagher Wellens/Abe King Dyer Howard Fryatt - still believe in him, want to see if the howard/fryatt partnership still works SUBS Logan Vitor/Hobbs Burner Moussa Wellens/Abe Vassell Waghorn
stivesfox Posted 10 November 2010 Posted 10 November 2010 Took him 15 mins to get a touch I believe in Fryatt NOT! Seems mirror report miller deal is done!!! TAXI for Fryatt!! Had we lost would have bet some moron would have blamed defeat on St Matty not starting!
ajthefox Posted 11 November 2010 Posted 11 November 2010 Vitor for Hobbs ,dyer for vassel. End of. I'm of the opinion we need consistency, so I'd rather go for this and stick with the 4-3-3/4-5-1 And as has been said, Howard has worked brilliantly the past two games as an impact sub, so he stays on the bench for that reason.
Callabinho Posted 11 November 2010 Posted 11 November 2010 Hobbs was gash tonight! Hopefully vitor will be fit t'utherwise derby will have fun infront of our goal!
AmyLGK Posted 11 November 2010 Posted 11 November 2010 I actually forgot that both Vassell and Fryatt were on the pitch during the game.....! How long did it take for Fryatt to have his first touch!? I really believe that Dyer should start and Vassell come on as a sub, until he is match fit!
Thracian Posted 11 November 2010 Posted 11 November 2010 I wonder if Fryatt and Hobbs are bothered at all. I'd imagine both see themselves as likely to be replaced. And if that's not being reflected in their football then they've sure gone downhill for some other reason. Not that I ever much rated either, although both have shown themselves able to be effective on occasions.
Ricey Posted 11 November 2010 Posted 11 November 2010 Weale Naughton - Davies - Vitor - CunninghamMoussa - King - Wellens - DyerFryatt - Howard Fryatt needs a chance and we all know he plays better with Howard alongside him.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 11 November 2010 Posted 11 November 2010 Weale. Naughton Hobbs Davies Cunningham Gallagher Wellens King Dyer Howard Waghorn/Fryatt Subs: Logan Morrison Berner Moussa Abe Fryatt/Waghorn Vassell Really think we should play 4-4-2 especially at home, the formation last night worked at Barnsley, but yesterday we looked poor until Howard came on.
lcfcsnow Posted 11 November 2010 Posted 11 November 2010 It's slipped everyones mind how poor Howard is starting games then. Good old City fans, hope Sven keeps him as an impact sub.
goose2010 Posted 11 November 2010 Posted 11 November 2010 you stop commons you win the game!! so some one from CM has got to track him I would go for Weale Cunningham davies vitor (if fit) noughton Abe (to track commons) Gally King Wellens Dyer Waghorn or fryatt
shailen Posted 11 November 2010 Posted 11 November 2010 Hobbs has lost his confidence but i am sure he will be back to standard levels my team would be: Weale naughton davies hobbs Cunningham Dyer Abe Wellens Gally King Howard
MC Prussian Posted 11 November 2010 Posted 11 November 2010 Weale Cunningham Davies Vitor Naughton Dyer Abe King Gallagher Howard Waghorn Subs: Logan, Hobbs, Morrison, Berner, Wellens, Vassell, Fryatt
breadandcheese Posted 11 November 2010 Posted 11 November 2010 It's a tough one to pick a team because I wouldn't want to see Abe dropped (I like his energy in the middle) and don't think you can drop King or Wellens. In playing all three, it means going to a 4-3-3 formation, but then we don't have a striker who can play up front by themselves (nor do we have two great wingers who can get up and support play). I'd probably also swap Hobbs and Davies over position-wise. If Davies is the better defender, then I'd put him on his weaker side (the left CB spot) so that Hobbs will hopefully find it easier to get back to a good level of performance and concentration, helping to strenghten the back four. I also don't think Cunningham offers particularly much. I haven't seen him offer anything more than Berner to the team. My team would be Weale Naughton Hobbs Davies Berner Wellens Abe King Waghorn Howard Dyer
drc Posted 11 November 2010 Posted 11 November 2010 Weale Cunningham Davies Vitor Naughton Dyer Abe King Gallagher Howard Vassel (hasn't been match fit - maybe now he is) Subs: Logan, Hobbs, Morrison, Berner, Wellens, Waghorn, Fryatt
Guest Posted 11 November 2010 Posted 11 November 2010 Preferably a team of mentally strong players drop everyone whose "confidence is knocked" !!!

gibraltarfox Posted 11 November 2010 Posted 11 November 2010 Weale Naughton Hobbs Davies Cunningham Abe Gally Wellens King Dyer Howard Abe needs to stick to Commons like glue with Gally and Dyer getting forward and supporting Howard at every oppurtunity. Derby are short of CB's and can be a bit lightweight at the back so Howard starting, while not ideal, is a must.
