Jeffrey Schlupp

Brentford fan here

Like the look of your young Jeffrey, scored his first ever league goals in Friday nights win for us, he will never forget them no matter how far he goes in his

footballing life, we like the look of him down here and the crowd have taken to him straight away, a couple of nice goals for us on Friday, he's very quick

and athletic, Young and still a bit raw, but playing in our 1st team is good preparation for his future, I can see a great prospect ahead for you Leicester fans.

He gave a good interview on our BEES player and came over well.

On the other end of the scale is Robbie Neilson, who at 30 brings with him bags of experience and has made a world of difference to our defence, I think we

might be after him full time, as he is propably to old for you now.

Both should be appearing at Wembley for us next Sunday in the JPT Final, so tune in to watch them and support us, it's live on SKY, KO is 1:30pm :scarf:

good luck for the rest of the season.

Didn't Neilson go off on a stretcher? Surely he's a doubt for the JPT final?

I think the thing to notice there is where Schlupp is. He's not strolling around on the periphery somewhere or struggling to make his presence felt, he's right in the box where he can hurt the opposition if the chance arises. And that's Schlupp all over. All bloody game someone has to keep an eye on him because blink and he'll make you suffer. He's strong, he's brave, he's quick off the mark, he'll shoot on sight and he's got good instincts.

He walked out of the ground ( or rather Limped) apparantly just a bit of a knock but will miss the game on Tuesday night against Sheff Wed, they

hope to get him fit for the final on Sunday, we need him and Jeffrey as we have been hit hard with injuries at the moment, I would love to see Jeffrey score,

perhaps our luck will change at the "New" Wembley stadium, we have been involved in 5 play offs at Wembley over the last few years and not won

one of them!!! lets hope he brings some luck to us.

Going off-topic a little, I know, but I felt the same when I saw Vitor's first goal the other week. Not a pretty one, but vital. His alertness and determination to beat everyone else to the loose ball and stuff it into the net showed a real predatory instinct, just like all striker's should have. It put some of ours to shame. No wonder he was so disappointed at being dropped the next week.

Yes, a psychological masterpiece that! Perhaps it was a new totting up procedure - two goals, one clean sheet and you're out! lol

One because I dont see him being given much of a chance under sven because he likes his big names and two leicester always tend to shoot themselfs in the foot when it comes to things like this!

Do we?! I can't think of any youthers we've released or sold in the last 10 years who have had a successful career in the same or higher league than us (yes other than Gradel!). In fact I can think of very few players in general that fit the criteria, Stearman being a recent exception.

I'm not entering the argument here just i can think of a couple .

The two you mentioned Gradel , Stearman and then there is Mattock , Matty Piper ( although he got injured showed he was quality before the injury) and then last but not least Heskey . Thats all i can think of in the time i have supported city o ya and Lineker

Apart from Gradel they've all left for 'bigger clubs' or top flight football. Not really mistakes.

How tall is the lad, I always thought he was small but he doesn't look that small in the video.

Think he's about 5'10/5'11

The finish for his 2nd goal showed great technique to rasp it through the crowd.

Not getting too excited but if he can bag regularly at Legaue One level then he should be sweet for us next year with a bit of work and encouragement.

I don't have Sky, but I'm eager to see him play as the last time I did (for Leicester Academy against Sheffield United Academy) he didn't look too threatening, apart from a class consolation goal.

Therefore I'll definatley be watching through an online stream.

Iwas not saying they were mistakes just trying to list youth players that have gone on to a club level or above us League wise.

Schlupp's the boy, looking like a prospect for the future.

Hope he gets his place at Wembley this weekend, would be great for him and Brentford if he keeps scoring :trumpet: :trumpet:
