I know he's got a bad boy image and has been a real idiot in the past, but he seems to be on the right track now and is a quality player. I think had he not have been in so much trouble previously he'd be an England player now. However, do we really need another midfielder now? I like what we have and maybe it wouldn't be worth having him for the risk of a disruption.
