Babylon Posted 30 June 2011 Posted 30 June 2011 The championship version of the Harlem Globe Trotters.
Callabinho Posted 30 June 2011 Posted 30 June 2011 I think this is the 'Friend' Of Lee Peltier, Danns came off, so hopefully he will
Ric Flair Posted 30 June 2011 Posted 30 June 2011 Would be a stunning signing if we could get him. Can't fathom out why he doesn't want to go to QPR though.
Babylon Posted 30 June 2011 Posted 30 June 2011 Might as well get this one going again. Whoop! Whoop! Apparently he might be interested. Either that or the Merc is putting words in his mooth! EDIT: I'm going to go away from the computer now. I can't read a simple article and am hallucinating and fabricating facts. http://www.thisisleicestershire.co.uk/City-agree-fee-Irish-star/story-12855185-detail/story.html You're not... it's right at the bottom. "but City are also poised and it is understood the player would welcome a move to the Walkers Stadium."
MGLCFC Posted 30 June 2011 Posted 30 June 2011 Routledge favours a move to Leicester according to the Mercury
Woollett's Wellies Posted 30 June 2011 Posted 30 June 2011 Apparently Yeung has been arrested in Hong Kong for money laundering and shares dealing in the Birmingham City holding company have been suspended. However, Birmingham City deny this will affect them in the transfer market. On the QPR front. In the CMS thread apparently when CMS asked Warnock for assurances he would still be there at the beginning of the season he couldn't give any! Got to say it wouldn't make you feel too secure about the situation and how likely you were to be playing, or warming the bench at either club. Yeung story.. http://edition.cnn.com/2011/BUSINESS/06/29/hongkong.yeung.arrest/ Warnock/CMS http://www.peterboroughtoday.co.uk/sport/football/peterborough-united/leicester_and_west_ham_chasing_mackail_smith_1_2807397 (About half way down)
Joe. Posted 30 June 2011 Posted 30 June 2011 Would like this to happen, we're crying out for a couple of quality wingers in this squad.
Bazzerellie Posted 30 June 2011 Posted 30 June 2011 Totally agree, we have been missing quietly on the wing for a few years. Be nice to see a season where all the lads play in their correct positions.
sphericalfox Posted 30 June 2011 Posted 30 June 2011 You're not... it's right at the bottom. "but City are also poised and it is understood the player would welcome a move to the Walkers Stadium." Whew! I have reread the article and I'm thankful for seeing my error. I think this transfer window will be the death of me!
CloudFox Posted 30 June 2011 Posted 30 June 2011 This would be such a good signing. Gally on the Left, Routledge on the Right, Maynard/CMS/Nugent in the middle .
Bezzanator89 Posted 30 June 2011 Posted 30 June 2011 Would be a good signing in my opinion, but I think that this is unlikely as things stand. Got QPR (again), West Ham (again) and Birmingham to compete with. Fingers crossed though eh?
thybluefox Posted 30 June 2011 Posted 30 June 2011 Hey, looks like we've beaten West Ham and QPR to the signing of CMS, it can happen again!
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 1 July 2011 Posted 1 July 2011 This would be such a good signing. Gally on the Left, Routledge on the Right, Maynard/CMS/Nugent in the middle .
Liamlcfc1 Posted 3 July 2011 Posted 3 July 2011 http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/transfer-news/Leicester-to-hijack-QPR-signing-of-Wayne-Routledge-article755869.html Leicester City boss Sven Goran Eriksson is trying to hijack Wayne Routledge’s £1.5 million move to newly-promoted QPR.Eriksson is ready to pay the cash for the winger who helped Rangers win the Championship during a loan spell but has yet to tie up a permanent move. The Foxes are spending freely and can pay the fee and pick up Routledge’s wages, which is a package that Rangers are struggling to match in their current financial state. Boss Neil Warnock is being frustrated by the club’s failure to land targets amid rumblings of potential takeovers - and losing Routledge would be a blow to him. Meanwhile Leicester have won the race to sign Reading skipper Matthew Mills - by offering the biggest fee and best wages. Eriksson’s ambitious outfit are poised to pay £4 million for the powerful centre half who has also been speaking to Wolves and Stoke City about going straight into the Premier League. And the Foxes have also seen off their top-flight rivals by offering a salary that rises up to £30,000-a-week - massive wages for the Championship and too big for their Premier rivals. Mills helped Reading to reach the play-off final, but now the Royals will sell and one of their major second tier rivals have shocked the selling club and the other bidders by the cash they have to spend. Eriksson hopes to use the same financial muscle to sign Peterborough striker Craig Mackail-Smith, who could be persuaded to go to the Championship big hitters despite Premier interest. Leicester will offer Mackail-Smith a similar personal package as they put an impressive squad together. Alexikokopops Posted 3 July 2011 Posted 3 July 2011 That say's we've WON the race for Matt Mills Yes. It's prbably going in tomorrow's paper and they obviously have reason to believe that the deal has gone through. I'm waiting to see it on the OS myself.
Callabinho Posted 3 July 2011 Posted 3 July 2011 Routledge is good friends With Lee peltier and Danns! Mills and St.ledger would do it as far as defence goes, provided Bamba doesn't leave, could see the end of Tunch though
wattolcfc Posted 3 July 2011 Posted 3 July 2011 That say's we've WON the race for Matt Mills adster it also says CMS is coming aswel.. don't believe everything you read
Corky Posted 3 July 2011 Posted 3 July 2011 Blimey, QPR's financial state must be worrying if we're offering higher wages.
thybluefox Posted 3 July 2011 Posted 3 July 2011 Worringly people seem to be saying we've got Mills... I mean worryingly in the way that that probably means we haven't. Hopefully Pelts and Danns can persuade him to come here, will pave the way for Dyer to leave as well.
Adster Posted 3 July 2011 Posted 3 July 2011 Blimey, QPR's financial state must be worrying if we're offering higher wages. I thought QPR were one of the 'richest' teams in England?
Corky Posted 3 July 2011 Posted 3 July 2011 So did I, which is why I'm surprised we can offer a better deal.
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 3 July 2011 Posted 3 July 2011 This would be such a good signing. Gally on the Left, Routledge on the Right, Maynard/CMS/Nugent in the middle . Perfect gally cutting inside and having a few shots and routledge tearing up the right wing..
