Jeff starling "whats happened to turn Leicester city into Barcelona lately "

Must say how some pundits who wrote us off how some things have changed, but sterlings comment on sky yesterday what has turned Leicester City into Barcelona recently now that is a comment and a half and even to be a likened to the great Barcelona only if Tounge in cheek !! ;)

So far this season who has made you smile by their comment or made your blood boil with their comments ?

Stuart Pearce likened vardy to Suarez in the Newcastle commentary so it isn't without precedent? (He was talking about his running and pressing rather than his skill level)

According to Sunday supplement Pearson shouldn't be considered for manager of the year as he's "spent lots of money".

London based journos despise our Nige! lol

Yep...

Ashton wrote just before our winning run started: "Leicester are toast because their manager hasn't adapted to the Premier League" or something along those lines. Definitely the "toast" bit, haven't been able to get it out of my head since we started winning.

Also Jose should win the manager of the month because he won the league that month (he actually won it in May anyway)! lol

It's a manager of the month award, not a season award. Its not an award to recognise success over the season, that's what strangely enough the manager of the season award is for.

Worst programme on TV.

I actually think it is. Just watched the last 10 mins - excruciating.

Also Pearson shouldn't have won MOTM because Chelsea won the league last month and have been the best team over the last 8-9 months...WTF?

Well they're in a different league so are allowed to spend, seemingly spending a few quid to survive is immoral.

Was just about to say that. Going off what they said no manager outside the top 5 clubs should ever win the award.

He shouldn't win manager of the year because we haven't exceeded expectations over the whole year. Mourinho should win manager of the year because of how much he's taken Chelsea forward, and without spending massive money (net). Last month though, we exceeded everyones expectations massively and Chelsea had a good month. Pearson clearly deserved it.

This table also doesn't account for the fact that we were comfortably outspent by 5 of those teams the previous season as well. And as far as I can tell we only outspent Burnley by whatever Dean Hammond cost.

Sun on Sunday match reporter,at kp yesterday! Paraphrase " hodgson surprise visitor to kp,prob run the rule over clyne and Bertrand!wot he witnessed was a Southampton side torn to shreds"! Isn't it refreshing to see a journo ,write a report convincing you that he was at the same game as you!!!

How can Pearson be even considered for MOTY.

We finished with 100+ points last year and could still be relegated yet with only two games left.

He's done brilliant in the last six weeks so MOTM for April is sufficient.

It would be nice if he won it for May as well.  :)

I'm not saying he should be, but there reasoning was utterly moronic. They suggested Mark Hughes "because he's spent less than anyone". We'll ignore the squad that's cost a shit load, and the fact he's taken a mid table team to mid table.

Mourinho hasn't exceeded expectations either. People expected Chelsea to win the league and they did.

Would have a look at Gary Monk for MOTY, Jose has done what he was expected to do.

So have swansea though? if your going on doing above expectations then surely it'd have to be koeman. How many people predicted southampton to finnish in or around the bottom 3

Yeah he was expected to because he's the best manager in the world. The Chelsea he took over a couple of years ago were a shadow of the team he's got now. He's clearly done the best job this year imo.

Nobody with a working brain that's for sure. £90-odd million in the bank and three-quarters of a top 8 side still there, you'd have had to be a moron to genuinely think they'd be relegation candidates.

Koeman has taken them from 8th to 7th, not really earth-shattering.
