The Doctor Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 almost as patronising and stereotyping as the original article but not quite :-) At least it was obviously sarcastic, unlike the tripe in the original article.
Haydos Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 http://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/dec/04/jamie-vardy-leicester-city-interview vardzz interview Didn't know Nuge is his best man. Great little read that. I know other teams seem to think he's a scumbag but he comes across so well in these interviews, it's hard to believe he is.
Master Fox Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 Nuge as best man Banter overload ! Got to love Nuge the cheeky chappy.
JerryLundegaard Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 Nuge as best man Banter overload ! Got to love Nuge the cheeky chappy. Scored again at Ipswich yesterday an all.
goose2010 Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 Nuge as best man Banter overload ! Got to love Nuge the cheeky chappy. His speech will be as good as his record against Ipswich! 1
Vlad the Fox Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 Leicester - it's like watching Brazil' Swansea 0-3 Leicester Martin Keown Former Arsenal defender on Final Score "Vardy wants to get that 12th goal? No, he sees someone else and lays it off. It's like watching Brazil on the break, they are running away with the Premier League and you cannot give them enough credit." 1
Jacnah Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 At least it was obviously sarcastic, unlike the tripe in the original article. aye...and taken that way :-)

Rusko187 Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 Danny Baker on Twitter: "Surely we are all Leicester supporters now. The bloated "Big 4" are such crashing bores & entitled corporations. We need a punk revolution" My workplace has a mixture of all sorts of football fans and every time we touch on the subject of football all I hear is huge praise of Leicester and how they hope we can break the top 4. It's refreshing to hear these comments and yet we get them playing our brand of stylish attacking football. What a time to be a Leicester fan, makes you proud to see what the lads are achieving and I hope it continues for them.
Vacamion Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 Curbishley on Sky Sports: Leicester are everyone's 2nd team. They can win the league, like Brian Clough's Forest.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 Curbishley on Sky Sports: Leicester are everyone's 2nd team. They can win the league, like Brian Clough's Forest. Would be a bigger achievement than Cloughs forest in fact it would send shockwaves around the world and the earth would just implode... with the game today the Money ect... this is the truly impossible starting to become probable
americanfox Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 Americans are thick re football though.... Be nice...!
tom27111 Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 Couple of stats....Vardy and Mahrez have scored more goals than 14 teams in the league. Since Fergie retired, Man Utd have spent 10 days at the top of the league. Leicester have been there for 12. 1

foxes_rule1978 Posted 6 December 2015 Posted 6 December 2015 (edited) He's only stating the bleeding obvious though isn't he? He is, nothing wrong with what he said... but we aren't a selling club and no one will go in January not unless someone puts a ridiculous offer down for any of them... next summer is a different matter though Edited 6 December 2015 by foxes_rule1978

VinceNoir Posted 6 December 2015 Posted 6 December 2015 Good to see Merse doing his research. "I dunno how old the boy drinkwater is Jeff, 29 or summink?"
katieakita Posted 6 December 2015 Posted 6 December 2015 Like Merse myself and forgive some of his "odd" comments and put them down to poor lifestyle choices. Looks like he drew the short straw in being appointed the sky sports Leicester expert but he does show passion. Have more of a problem with the journalists on the likes of sunday supplement who will spout utter shite and steal a living from journalism.Sky surely must be able to find someone with a bit of background knowledge to talk about the club. Some of the ignorant assumptions beggars belief. 1

tom27111 Posted 6 December 2015 Posted 6 December 2015 Don't bother watching Sunday Supplement, Neil Ashton just tweeted this running order. Not a mention!

tom27111 Posted 6 December 2015 Posted 6 December 2015 You could've just left it at 'Don't bother watching Sunday Supplement' If we miraculously won the league, they'd manage to talk about the failings of the traditional top 4, rather than praising anyone else. 1
