Fair play to Smith, I had Eubank winning that all day long.

Cracking fight that was, fair play to both fighters. Yarde's surpassed expectations and Beterbiev is just unreal. I think both fighters come out of that pretty well. 

 

What was that KO in the fight before? Can someone who understand being punched better than me explain how the guy was so messed up after absorbing a punch through his gloves after 10 seconds? My first imrpession was that it looked like he'd been paid to dive

. It just didn't seem like that hard of a punch at all, especially when you see some that land that barely seem to even be felt. That being said, I wouldnt want to be on the end of it

 

 

Its absurd isn't it, absolute unit.

Leigh Wood was tremendous but Lara carries ridiculous power for that weight. Hard to say if Davison did the right thing, when he only had to survive 10 seconds.

Wood was still wobbling and needed oxygen after the towel was thrown in. Would have been mad to let him carry on in my opinion.

 

Realistically the ref gave him close to 15 seconds as well and he still waant with it.

 

Annoys me how quickly the refs are happy to wave the fight off when the lads are foreign but they'll throw the home fighters back into the fight despite not looking up to it

It was almost a perfect performance from Wood until he got walloped by that left. 

 

I'd like to say I enjoyed the night but too many drunk / coked up knobheads in the crowd. 

 

It was basically a Forest away day crowd who had been on the lash all day and were singing songs as if there was away fans in the arena......?

 

Massive fight about 4 rows behind me between 50 year old blokes (SI gear on, bald, fat) you know the types, which then desended into a free for all with their mates and security.

Yeah just watched it back and you’re right. Time shows that Davison was correct to do what he did.
