bluearmyfox23 Posted 13 August 2011 Posted 13 August 2011 Would love keano but I think wingers are our main priority others may disagree. We defintley need at least 1 winger and 2 strikers for me then were ready ! I also think keane would be stupid if he went to LA now he still is good enough for the prem for another 2 years then go but not now !!!
bluearmyfox23 Posted 13 August 2011 Posted 13 August 2011 Also wonder If we can get him and becks on loan during there close season
Iwan Roberts Posted 13 August 2011 Posted 13 August 2011 Have been rumoured to be signing someone this week and didnt. Are missing out on some good strikers for this level and have to disagree about a signing a winger the way Sven plays. For now should go for a top 3 of Dyer Nugent and Gallagher.
topharry123 Posted 14 August 2011 Posted 14 August 2011 Also wonder If we can get him and becks on loan during there close season Think Beckhams contract runs out in November. As for Keane, wouldn't be surprised if he was loaned out as he hasn;t had much football recently and there's not much of the MLS left!

purpleronnie Posted 14 August 2011 Posted 14 August 2011 Rumours in the US is LA are off loading Juan Pablo Angel to make way for Robbie.
bluearmyfox23 Posted 14 August 2011 Posted 14 August 2011 Rumours in the US is LA are off loading Juan Pablo Angel to make way for Robbie. Is angel any good is he worth a punt ?
FRASER Posted 14 August 2011 Posted 14 August 2011 Hahaha, yeah why not, lets all have a stab in the dark. Anyone can come on here and say that when the likeliness is that we will be making a signing next week anyway :sge: this is not a stab in the dark it is true info your choice to believe it or not mark my words ........
Happy Fox Posted 14 August 2011 Posted 14 August 2011 Robbie Keane won't come here now unless their is a hitch in his proposed transfer to LA Galaxy
MikeyT Posted 14 August 2011 Posted 14 August 2011 Rumours in the US is LA are off loading Juan Pablo Angel to make way for Robbie. Fine then, if Robbie doesn't come, we'll have Juan then.
crisp packet Posted 14 August 2011 Posted 14 August 2011 Fine then, if Robbie doesn't come, we'll have Juan then. 35 been in the states since he left villa No thanks we are desperate but fooook off a joke I hope ?? We have missed out on a hell of a lot of strikers a hell of a lot benjani set to rejoin Pompey , miller to trees being the latest two even if we was/wasnt in for them ....
glen parva fox Posted 14 August 2011 Posted 14 August 2011 Why come here at this stage of his career, it's the states for him
Danny the Fox 95 Posted 14 August 2011 Posted 14 August 2011 Badly need a striker would take anyone at the moment-Maynard,Anichebe,Keane. Isn't Becchio worth a punt. A good enough bid will definitely make Bates sell!
purpleronnie Posted 14 August 2011 Posted 14 August 2011 Is angel any good is he worth a punt ? Nah, he'll move to another MLS side anyway.
dannythefox Posted 14 August 2011 Posted 14 August 2011 I don't see how people can say its the MSL for Keane he might not want to up sticks and move to america with all his family over here etc.. The one thing that would piss me off is travelling to and from Ireland for internationals its a big thing moving away because you don't no anyone and you have no family over there I don't thing the decision would just be down to him probably the whole family.
MGLCFC Posted 14 August 2011 Posted 14 August 2011 From what others have said, it sounds like his missus is keen on the move (no pun intended). She looks the steroetypical WAG and to that extent high maintenance and so it may depend on who wears the trousers. My assumptions may be wrong and Robbie is his own man and will make a decision based on his own career needs and challenges. However, I'm not sure he is over enthusiastic about dropping down a league and I would hate someone playing for us if his heart and soul wasn't totally in it.
davelcfc100 Posted 14 August 2011 Posted 14 August 2011 Don't know if already been said but apparently he's signed a 2 year deal with la galaxy
Scaramanga! Posted 14 August 2011 Posted 14 August 2011 Unless they're keeping it really quiet, i don't think LA have signed him considering their transfer deadline was up on the 14th and they still had to get rid of Angel.

If she wears the trousers, there one legged ones! (joke courtesy of previous posters great observation!)
crisp monster Posted 14 August 2011 Posted 14 August 2011 A picture of the wife: I think kind words, that are mature, respectful and flattering should be in order (not Gallyesque, we do want him to come here) http://sports.popcrunch.com/wp- content/uploads/2008/06/keaneiso1304_468x732.jpg[/ Looks like she's got 1 leg and a horses cock
cc_star Posted 14 August 2011 Posted 14 August 2011 Unless they're keeping it really quiet, i don't think LA have signed him considering their transfer deadline was up on the 14th and they still had to get rid of Angel. Transfer deadline is 8:59pm Pacific time (04:59 tomorrow morning our time) I think Keane's paperwork would have been in for Friday's preliminary admin deadline so now it's all relying on the other player moving on before the actual deadline in about 10hrs
