dandannieldanok Posted 19 October 2009 Posted 19 October 2009 Really impressed with Arsenal this season, hopefully they can go on and win the Premier League.
Phube Posted 19 October 2009 Author Posted 19 October 2009 One thing: It was a perfectly good tackle on Theo! What a real tackle should do!
MC Prussian Posted 19 October 2009 Posted 19 October 2009 Can't really dis-like Arse-nal this season. Wenger plays more home-grown talent than ever before!! And Vermaelen's a beast.
Anish Posted 19 October 2009 Posted 19 October 2009 You can dislike or hate Arsenal and Arsene Wenger for many things, but you have to admire the way they play. They play the beautiful game like no other team can, slick, quick and at times breathtaking. Even the most blinkered football supporters should at least acknowledge that.

Arsenal AND Barcelona are masters of the style of play you just described
Hugo Sanchez Posted 19 October 2009 Posted 19 October 2009 Thank you Albs, you can have a second team you know cock in essex You follow non league teams in England and teams playing across the pound too. Also i bet i've follow Arsenal alot longer then you have follow some German team or some non league team your uni is near. Back to the thread, Arsenal like someone said are quietly going about their business. Winning games they wouldn't have last season. They have some real talented player in their ranks aswell. Selling Adebayor and Toure was a masterstroke by Wenger. People are not paying real attention to Arsenal this year, which is a good thing because while people are more intrested in how Liverpool, Chelsea and Man city get on. Arsenal have been pulling out wins. Champions League will be intresting for them this season. I think they have shown playing Standard Liege, that they have the fight in them now. Which has been lacking in the last few seasons.

My point was that in the thread I quoted you from, you accused me of being a lesser City fan than yourself, yet you seem to go on and on about this love for Arsenal. I just find it odd that someone would support Leicester and a big English team too just for the sake of having a top flight club to follow. Perhaps that's just me though...

I just find it odd that someone would support Leicester and a big English team too just for the sake of having a top flight club to follow. Perhaps that's just me though... I been following Arsenal since 1994, The first games i can remember watching on tv were Arsenal European cup winners cup triumph. I started going to Leicester matches in 1993 but my cousins were Arsenal fans and so i joined. I support Leicester 100 %, i do follow Arsenal though as a second club but when Arsenal play us i couldn't give a toss about them. I want Leicester to win. One of my favorite Leicester moments was when Walshy smashed in that equalizer and my favorite Walkers Moment was when Hignett scored in the dying seconds but after that i want Arsenal to win. Arsenal have gave me great moments, Winning the double in 97/98 and the invincible season of 03-04. I find it weird how you find it weird that i love watching a side playing sexy football, you pay 10 quid to watch non league football. Give me sky sports anyday.
Filbert_Ross Posted 20 October 2009 Posted 20 October 2009 People who bum a 2nd English team do my head in.
Tilley Posted 20 October 2009 Posted 20 October 2009 I love Arsenal. I love them that much I'm not bothering to watch a boring midweek Championship game in the cold. Instead I'm going to sit in the warm with tea and jaffa cakes and watch the mighty Gunners.

Matt Posted 3 December 2009 Posted 3 December 2009 If any proof was needed Arsene Wenger is a mardy fuck.
lildave3 Posted 3 December 2009 Posted 3 December 2009 Two 3-0 defeats, Wenger acting like the dick that he is, it's been a good week.

AyewJoking Posted 13 August 2011 Posted 13 August 2011 Nasri will warm the bench at Man City - FACT Should have sold Cesc to Barca ages ago, he stayed at Arsenal and did nothing.
