accessory Posted 23 August 2011 Posted 23 August 2011 Beckford is not playing for Everton tonight, all I've got to say..... .. because the Everton game is tonight. (Wednesday)
Toffee_Fox Posted 24 August 2011 Posted 24 August 2011 I love people that take someones info, post it like they "know" in one of their first posts, and look a complete pillock when they get the date of the game wrong. Do continue though
tomtom Posted 24 August 2011 Posted 24 August 2011 Me too, hence snapping up the 14/1 on them going down! Save your hard earned money,...they start every season slowly not to mention the fact they've only played 1 game!.....they'll be top half if they keep hold of jagielka
dpjfox Posted 24 August 2011 Posted 24 August 2011 Maynard missing from Bristol squad tonight also... (injured)

Outfox the Fox Posted 24 August 2011 Posted 24 August 2011 Sports Editor at Liverpool Echo (JT) has just told me that Beckford is, "unlikely to sign for Leicester at the moment". Beckford does not want to drop down to the Championship and Moyes is keen to keep him, until he can get a replacement in (unlikely before the window closes). However one transfer from Everton to City that might happen before next week, is Bilyaletdinov - Sven's keen and Moyes is prepared to sell, if the 'price is right' !

That would be an awesome signing!! Sadly I can't see it happening though. :sge: prove me wrong!
Jaspa Posted 24 August 2011 Posted 24 August 2011 Guzuntight. Errrrrrrrrrr . . . That's massively racist You should be prepaired for a 'Hack' assualt at anytime now. Be afraid . Be very afraid
MC Prussian Posted 24 August 2011 Posted 24 August 2011 We neverrr had a Rrrrussian beforrr, so this will be a premierrr. Bilyaletdinov, what a tough name to spell. Almost as bad as Raksiaksorn. And a bummer to get printed on the back of the shirt. A very expensive bummer, that is.
Jaspa Posted 24 August 2011 Posted 24 August 2011 Or we could just call him 'Billy' The problem I see is Billy's fave number is 7, and Nicky's is 10. Both are strongly held.
Jaspa Posted 24 August 2011 Posted 24 August 2011 Tomato or brown? Errgh Blue, White and Yellow of course

I see Bily......... also didn't play in the League Cup match last night (or was on the bench). I don't know if he's injured ...... or 'rested', pending a transfer out - though not necessarily to us ! As reported; no Beckford ('injured', officially), or Yak (again, he's not even on the bench), either. Anichebe was playing (and scored for the first time in 17 months apparently) - so it looks like he might be staying - thank goodness (ie probably not coming to City !).
Thracian Posted 25 August 2011 Posted 25 August 2011 When City said they'd get a striker by Saturday, did they mention which Saturday?
lestajigs Posted 25 August 2011 Posted 25 August 2011 When City said they'd get a striker by Saturday, did they mention which Saturday? Saturday 29th 2012
Number 6 Posted 25 August 2011 Posted 25 August 2011 Save your hard earned money,...they start every season slowly not to mention the fact they've only played 1 game!.....they'll be top half if they keep hold of jagielka Which is why you should back now and lay before they get good. Wasn't going on the 1 game either, there is a general negative vibe around the place and they have all sorts of money trouble.

Agreed, couple of injuries and they're screwed, their squad is wafer thin in quite a few areas.
MC Prussian Posted 25 August 2011 Posted 25 August 2011 When City said they'd get a striker by Saturday, did they mention which Saturday? We already have six strikers at the club, so why the hurry? Oh, and there's Leon Crncic. That makes it seven.
blueblood88 Posted 25 August 2011 Posted 25 August 2011 When City said they'd get a striker by Saturday, did they mention which Saturday? FFS, obviously this Saturday, or they wouldn't have mentioned it you div.
shade Posted 25 August 2011 Posted 25 August 2011 FFS, obviously this Saturday, or they wouldn't have mentioned it you div. are you literally mental? it was obviously a joke!
