MC Prussian Posted 27 April 2013 Share Posted 27 April 2013 (edited) Should Monaco win away at Sedan tonight, they'll be promoted with four more games to go and back in Ligue 1 next season. Nantes also look more likely to go up, but promotion is not guaranteed up until two weeks from now. In Serie B, tiny outfit Sassuolo are still in first place, but it's going to be a tense finale, as both Livorno (Italy's answer to St. Pauli) and Hellas Verona can push them off that top spot. Livorno. Edited 27 April 2013 by MC Prussian
21st Century Fox Posted 28 April 2013 Share Posted 28 April 2013 Italy: Agent Francesco Nicolato, reacting after his client, Lecce's Ousmane Dramé, was accused of refusing to pay a prostitute, stealing her handbag, trying to escape on a bike then fighting her transsexual friend who had chased him down. "It was foolish from the boy. All I hope is that one mistake won't tarnish his whole career."
MC Prussian Posted 28 April 2013 Share Posted 28 April 2013 Juventus only need two more points from their last four games to be crowned Italian champions. Napoli are very likely to finish in second spot.
21st Century Fox Posted 28 April 2013 Share Posted 28 April 2013 Ajax only need to beat bottom placed Willem II next Sunday to clinch a third successive Eredivisie title. It's a shame this, been following Eredivisie this season as i've been living in the Netherlands since September, and until a couple of weeks ago it was the closest title race in Europe, was sure it would go down til the last day. AKCJ Posted 28 April 2013 Share Posted 28 April 2013 Edin Dzeko to Dortmund is apparently a 'done deal'. I think we'll see Lewandowski coming to the PL.

MC Prussian Posted 29 April 2013 Share Posted 29 April 2013 (edited) Braunschweig will now officially compete back in the Bundesliga next season, after defeating Ingolstadt 1-0 away from home thanks to an injury-time free-kick. It only took the 1967 Bundesliga champions 28 years to complete a journey that once brought them as low the Regionalliga back to the highest German football division. Here's some scenes of jubilation from the Braunschweig city centre (German commentary only): http://mediencenter.....#/0,0_e6jl797w Edited 29 April 2013 by MC Prussian
MC Prussian Posted 29 April 2013 Share Posted 29 April 2013 Beckham's red card from last night.... Well, judging from the second and closer angle, Beckham doesn't even really touch the Evian player's leg. But I guess the instant groaning had the desired effect. Pathetic showmanship behaviour from Adnane.
ScouseFox Posted 29 April 2013 Share Posted 29 April 2013 Anyone got a video of the after match scenes from that PSG game? My stream cut out just as their keeper was clotheslining anyone in sight. 2 or 3 reds after the whistle apparently, too. Not sure what sparked it but everyone went fùcking nuts. Floating Fox Posted 30 April 2013 Share Posted 30 April 2013 Sirigu and Khelifa got into it, then Claude Makélelé got involved. Nobobdy wants Claude to get involved. Carnage! Also, if Dortmund do manage to get Dzeko in to replace Lewandowski (Who's off to bayern not the PL) that would be a fantastic move. Finnegan Posted 30 April 2013 Share Posted 30 April 2013 Lewa has no buyout in his contract, the rumours that came out last week are largely unfounded. Be surprised if Dortmund let him go to direct competition if United are genuinely interested and he genuinely wants to play in England.

ScouseFox Posted 11 May 2013 Share Posted 11 May 2013 Madness in the Portuguese Liga. Both Porto and Benfica had been unbeaten all season, Benfica were 2 points ahead but Porto have just beaten them in injury time to take a one point lead into the final day. If they'd drawn then Porto would have been very likely to have gone a whole season unbeaten but finish second! Mental scenes after they scored their winner.
