Panic Buying

Queues, petrol, and morons.

Garages are running dry already in Blackpool, people filling their cars up and then filling petrol cans up to.

I'm just off red in my car and can't be arsed with it again, I didn't bother.

I really hate people, how can we make any fuel crisis worse? By buying as much as we can now, even without any potential fuel shortage massively increasing demand could potentially create one. Fvcking idiots the lot of them.

Probably 'yummy mummies' making sure they have enough juice to get little Tarquin half a mile down the road to school. Personally, no use in me panic buying, I have to fill up every 4 days just to get to work and back. Panic today, I can panic again on monday!!

They don't understand the relationship between supply and demand.

Panic buying will see fuel prices increase, morons.

I noticed Morrisons and others had slapped about 4p a litre on it's price overnight to accommodate the panic buying, Tossers.

Bread & Milk to follow...... with a hose pipe ban if the weather keeps up.

Why are the drivers wanting to strike? It can't be about wages as they earn around £45k pa.

This is one of the few occasions where I agree with corporations milking the stupidity of the masses. If they're gonna jeopardise petrol supplies in such an obvious manner then they deserve to be charged more.

Big shame for the individuals with the ability to think but also need petrol though.

They are worried about falling standards and falling conditions due to competition and other people willing to drive a frigging truck for less than £45k a year.

ie. We want more cash, or days off, or something else but we'll hide behind something else.

The government have helpfully advised us to top up our vehicles in readiness, but not to queue for petrol. Remember, it's not panic buying if you say it isn't.

I told my other half to go out and panic buy today like there's no tomorrow

Oh noes - how eva can we possibly get around if we donts hav fuel 4 our carz?

People will starve having been left unable to get to the shop 1/2 mile away, children will go uneducated because no one can drive the the one and a half miles to school, businesses will fold because no one invented a railway.

It's the 2012 - End Of The World, just like a film producer predicted.

Apparently the union have to give 7 days notice before they strike anyway.

Exactly. The strikes (should they go ahead - they're by no means certain) are scheduled for the end of next week.

Do these morons not realise that even if they fill their car now, they will, in all likelihood, be out of petrol by the time the actual strikes start?

There were huge queues at Tesco in South Wigston this morning. Here's hoping my works van runs out of fuel at an opportune time.

Panic buying is more understandable than striking. If you want to get angry about this then direct it at the greedy ***** who are quite happy to cause mayhem for personal gain, rather than people just trying to minimise the effect it has on them

The Truckers side of the story.

You mad fool!

No one here wants to hear that - they want to know what the Daily Mail is telling them to think today.

I'm just off empty as well, sods law. I can't be arsed to queue. like someone else said, everyone filling their car up now will probably have to fill it up again anyway because they have to give 7 days notice.

I remember when the Iraq war kicked off and they showed pictures of the 'shock and awe' campaign on the news. I was working in bigish supermarket and the next day, after around 4 hours from opening we'd completely sold out of bottled water, by the end of the day there was hardly fizzy pop/squash etc. That was for a war halfway around the world. Some people are proper muppets.

Oh how Cameron must be giggling away as he has once again pitted minion against minion, as they squabble over table scraps.

So the fvck what about what they currently earn? So the fvck what if it is more than you and 'you do that job for their money or less'?

Once again...

Goldie Wilson: [rushes up to George] Say! What do you let those boys push you around like that for?

George McFly: Well, they're bigger than me.

Goldie Wilson: Stand tall, boy. Have some respect for yourself. Don't you know if you let people walk over you now, they'll be walking over you for the rest of your life! Look at me. You think I'm gonna spend the rest of my life in this slop house?

Nice language.

Have you actually read the reasons for the dispute? It's not all or only about salaries, it's also about safe working practices and the fact that different companies apply less stringent rules than others.

Chandler is a troll.

You feed the gimp and it will continue to post in an attempt to shock.

I'm quite looking forward to running out of fuel so I can't get to work. I'll be sure to keep a bit in reserve for social mileage, naturally.:devil:
