Gallaghers Brother in law Twitter GAZSMITH2011

Don't agree his wife getting abuse that crosses line, after all she doesn't tweet abuse back at people or get involved in petty squabbles. After reading twitter this evening Mr Smith the brother in law is shooting shit at people from all angles, he is fuelling the fire, some fella called bert seemed to get shit for no reason on there, and now gazsmith's dad is getting a bit naughty too.

If I was Paul Gallagher I be telling his brother in law to shut the **** up, he is annoying lcfc fans, I am sure he look smug if some sod lamps him when coming out corporate area Monday night.

Sorry I didn't mean she should be abused...but let's face it she is going to get banter when Gally goes on about smashing her back doors in, it was even referenced in the national press.....

I never get the analogies people make about buying cars or food etc. You go knowing very well you might walk away unhappy, it's the chance you take with buying a ticket. I don't boo the manager at the cinema because I didn't like the film.

Agreed. It's the risk you take when you decide to go to the game. For a start people serving you dinner etc don't have someone employed to try and stop them doing their job.

Hasn't been good enough for ages. Not committed and doesn't offer anything. Hopefully he will be leaving, along with other deadwood players.

slight exaggeration, there.

I see what your saying about being on a less well-paid job and getting spoken to like shit, but does it make you work better? I doubt it and I doubt it helps him. I'd rather not boo him before hes come on because its not really doing him or the team any good.

Boo after the final whistle if you want, I understand that just not whilst it might affect the teams performance.

I don't agree with the abuse his family members get at all. I think they bring some of it on themselves though by being so vocal when things are good. Now its all turned bad, the clowns come out in force, which unfortunatly, is always going to happen. Always going to get negative attention along with positive. You hear from his wife, father-in-law, brother-in-law. I don't know of any other players relatives who post on Twitter, maybe they should keep more of a low profile. But like I said doesn't excuse any of the crap they get sent there way.

Has anyone noticed that Gallagher's father in law has voted no in the should Pearson stay poll?

This.

He isnt good enough consistently and we cant play him in hope he scores one of his rare long shots.

Top post mate, one of the best I've ever read, agree with everything that you said.

I hate the fact people tell me, or whoever, I can't boo. These players earn more than we will ever earn and when they don't perform, why shouldn't we boo? It is our way, hardworking fans who pay decent money to be "entertained", to express our feelings.

I find it funny that the player or friends of the player want to moan over a website at us lol lol

You can boo.

But try and justify it at least.

The plot thickens.

It is justified. At the end of the game, after a poor performance.

I never said I boo before a player comes on, because I never have and probably never will.

Ok fair enough if it's the whole team at the end, but since this is a thread about Gallagher and we know wehere you stand in regards to him...

Regardless of my opinion on Gallagher, the way he's been treated by a minority of our fans is embarrassing.

He's a Leicester City player and quite frankly, as a set of fans, we've let him down far more than he's let us down.

Gallagher has been poor this year but nobody should be booed individually when they play for you. Boo at the end if you really find it necessary but no wonder Gally doesn't care when our 'fans' are too busy hating him rather than supporting his actions in the game. I'm not happy with him and think he should move on but I appreciate what he's done in the pass and acknowledge in 10 goals in 24 starts this season and so see no reason to boo him.I imagine the 'booers' are those same fickle people who have previously said he could be called up the Scotland squad.

Can't understand how because of the money their on, it means they should take it, they're only human, not robots. As for having the right to boo him because you pay his wages, does that mean you'd boo a waiter in a restaurant if he brought you the wrong meal? Didn't think so.

I havn't, but I seen people be very rude and ignorant to waiters/waitresses doing this, so some people would yes.

Gallagher is a seasoned professional no? If he gets booed by his own fans, why doesnt he perform better or at least run his bollocks off and give 100%.

I dont think fans would boo him if he showed passion when wearing the shirt.

If he cant manage this, he doesnt belong in football and he certainly doesnt belong here.

So if you were a professional footballer, earning a serious amount of money, and your fans booed you, would you suddenly think "oh no, I must buck up my ideas, and show more passion", or would you think "bollocks to them"? Honest answer, please...

Booing isnt effective

So there's no need for it then.

Thank god, its now a minority ,good..making progress...well I doubt anybody goes just to complain.. but LETs say if you spent a 100 quid in a restaurant and the food was shite would you just accept it and keep going? just because this is "football " it does not resolve the participants from any responsbility for their performance or end product..not in these financial times.. what was served up last night was piss poor..

It's not really comparable, is it. Not unless you sit there booing the waiter. Or do you ask for the chef to be brought out so you can abuse him to his face?

I havn't, but I seen people be very rude and ignorant to waiters/waitresses doing this, so some people would yes.

It serves absolutely no purpose at all.

I just don't get why people think gallagher has even been poor this year, hes scored more goals per minute i believe than any other player, some of them goal of the season contenders.

I think alot of his worst performances have been down to injury.

But surely most would just notify somebody that it was a mistake and maybe get the manager called, not sit there shouting expletives or making a noise with their mouth at them. Now I get that football is different in the fact you can't tell a manager but also the manager should be watching the same game so can see the problems whereas restaurant managers can't watch every single waiter. If you were to boo the waiter, I'm sure they'd just throw a strop and pass you on, keep you and be arsey with you or maybe get you chucked out, footballers can't do this, they have to carry on as if nothing happened and still give 100 percent or risk further criticism.

It's easy to say but me personally, I'm a competitive fooker, something I imagine and hope all footballers are, because i'm competitive I always try to do things better (Whether I succeed is another thing) and if people were slagging me off, booing, e.t.c, i'd be gritting my teeth and trying to prove them wrong, again whether i'd be successful is another question.

Like we've said before no player goes out to play poor on purpose so hopefully they are trying their best at all times, it's obviously no good enough but thats then down to the manager whether he plays him or not.

I wouldn't be thinking 'bollocks to them' i'd be trying even harder to prove them wrong and then as Gallagher did when he scored the other week i'd quietly go off not celebrate and get on with it, giving the impression of 'bollocks to them'.

I know your question wasn't to me but I thought i'd give my view on that situation lol

Good question. My honest answer would be fúck that lot. He's got no affiliation with this club (he doesn't support us) and we're not a massive club.

Put yourself in his shoes, like Lisa says, imagine yourself playing for, let's say Hull. You play in about half their games in a season, don't do too badly, score a few decent goals. Then it all goes wrong at the club (not purely your fault) and you have thousands of ****** from Hull threatening your wife, your family, yourself and booing your every touch.

I wouldn't want to "buck up my ideas and redouble my efforts", I'd want out.

Exactly my thoughts. I'm a competitive sod and probably my effort and desire to win would mean I wouldn't get into Gally's situation but if I was, I wouldnt care one bit. Unless I was playing for Leicester of course, but I'd expect it knowing some of our ******.
