It's his defensive, arrogant, mardy tone of voice and the way that he leads Stringer down dead ends to try and make him look stupid that irritates me. Stringer doesn't need help looking daft he can do that by himself, Nigel's dislike of him just makes me dislike Nigel .... which is why i find it so difficult to get behind him. I'd love him to do well, but have to admit I really dislike the guy (yes I've never met him, and I am judging him by his persona through the media, but so do most fans, and it's our club, not his).

Pearson is a MARDY fvcker. He is ALWAYS unpleasant in his interviews and seems scred that Stringer is trying to trick him... just answer the questions. For goodness sake, if you cant see and hear that Pearson is a difficult interviewee, then you are suffering from some sort of blind and deafness

But I imagine he's pissed off by Stringer asking questions he knows are not going to be answered, perhaps Pearson feels that Stringer should maybe have worked that out by now and stopped asking them.

I'm as guilty as anyone for "Pearson Bashing" and yet I heard the commentary today and felt really quiet optimistic about next season and bought momentarily into the "give him more time" camp. Then he comes on to the radio and sounds so depressed and uninspiring and not only gives no information but relishes that fact that he doesn't with a real "i know and it's my secret so fvck off cos I'm the man" arrogance that makes me so angry. As stated on here several times, he is in the entertainment business, if i don't get entertained as a fan then i may choose to do something else with my money and the club suffers ... ultimately he then loses his job prematurely. He just doesn't seem to care about his own job, let alone the fans. It would have cost him nothing today to come out and say "look i'd love to tell the fans what's going on but that makes my life hard when i'm negotiating deals etc, so watch this space, I'm determined to get it right for you and will let you know the minute i can".
