Happy Fox Posted 27 July 2012 Posted 27 July 2012 So they're willing to let him go for £750k but want the price to come way down? Twats. I think £850K is a reasonable valuation, lets hope Leeds stump up the money.
foxesfan1989 Posted 27 July 2012 Posted 27 July 2012 I honestly think Pelts is worth at least 1m. I wouldn't get rid of him either, but if we are going to, lets get a good price for a player for once.
Happy Fox Posted 27 July 2012 Posted 27 July 2012 I honestly think Pelts is worth at least 1m. I wouldn't get rid of him either, but if we are going to, lets get a good price for a player for once. Anything more than we paid for him is a profit, and over the years we have sold players for far less than we paid for, so I agree with you their. I think our valuation of £850K is good enough obviously if we get more it is a bonus. Thinking about it what would the money go towards we have sold Mills, Bamba and potentially Pelts, a top LW, Playmaker, Striker or CB?
Corky Posted 27 July 2012 Posted 27 July 2012 Good on us for trying to sell at our valuation rather than being forced into a lower price. £850k, which is £100k more than they sold him for and after a year of Championship football, is not extortionate.
Happy Fox Posted 27 July 2012 Posted 27 July 2012 Adam Pope â€@APOPEY @BBCLeeds understands Leicester value Lee Peltier at £850k.#htafc have pulled out unless the price drops nearer £600k they &#lufc offered.
ithuriel Posted 27 July 2012 Posted 27 July 2012 Peltier could well prove useful this season and if they do not want to pay the valuation they do not get the player, do they think Leicester are hard up and are desperate to sell
Woollett's Wellies Posted 27 July 2012 Posted 27 July 2012 750K plus a year's experience of the Championship....Ooh. I'd say that equals a value of £850k. Pay up and look happy cheapskates! (personally I'd rather we kept him).
indierich06 Posted 27 July 2012 Posted 27 July 2012 I suppose the way they see it is that he's not an important first team player for his and his value should reflect that. Presumably they think that a first team RB in league one is worth more than a back-up RB in the Championship. Not saying I agree with them, I think £850k is about right to be honest. It's not taking the piss and it's not letting him go on the cheap either.
kingfox Posted 27 July 2012 Posted 27 July 2012 Snap Leeds hand off for 850k Agree with this, if Leeds want him for 850k get rid quick. I like Peltier and it's a shame he is going to dirty Leeds and not Huddersfield but the price at the end of the day looks reasonable to me.

This. Think we've been far too quick to get rid of players before and just took a low offer. Although I'd like us to keep him, anything 900k upwards would represent good business
foxesfan1989 Posted 27 July 2012 Posted 27 July 2012 Anyone heard anything about the Leon Britton rumours on twitter? I can't find anything but dodgy accounts with less than 500 followers saying it to be honest...

1884Fox Posted 27 July 2012 Posted 27 July 2012 Total Football â€@TotalFootball6 Britton due at #lcfc on monday to discuss personal terms and a medical. Saw this a minute ago. Haha what a load of bull shite.
leicesterisme Posted 27 July 2012 Posted 27 July 2012 When making rumors up at least make them look half realistic, jesus christ.
Milton Keynes Fox Posted 27 July 2012 Posted 27 July 2012 "Brendon Rodgers gone, very good relationship with him. Leicester will offer a huge amount of money per week, who knows."
Babylon Posted 27 July 2012 Posted 27 July 2012 a. I'm not a market researcher and no expert on 'polls'. I can't do blogs either..I'll leave that to the 'blogger's amongst us. b. The poll has generated many responses, its a subject which seems to interest people and the results are pretty conclusive c. theres no need to be rude, I had a go at doing a poll, sorry if its not good enough for you Christ and people call me "touché".
Finn Claw II Posted 27 July 2012 Posted 27 July 2012 This again... Hmm, let's assume Pelts is on about 10K a week - given there is about 20 week until Christmas I'd rather sell now for c700k. Anything around what we paid for him and his wages off the books is good business to me
Rusko187 Posted 27 July 2012 Posted 27 July 2012 Total Football â€@TotalFootball6 Britton due at #lcfc on monday to discuss personal terms and a medical. I've just asked him if theres any truth in Messi to LCFC.. Also forward to Fourth Official to quash any rumours.

Anything around what we paid for him and his wages off the books is good business to me If we look like that we may as well sell every player who is not now a definite starter and save a fortune by playing our kids. Where does everyone get their information about peoples wages, bonus' and loyalty payments and also the clubs finances and debt structure from? I've also seen people commenting on wages for players a few times on here and I would think people have good knowledge of the clubs finances to talk about such things so confidently.

I have no idea as to his wages - it was a total guess based on what you read here. My point is not sell or keep, just that 700K vs. 900K is not likely to be huge in the context of his wages - so if you are going to sell, do so and move on To me you only sell Pelts if you have faith in Liam Moore
FrankieADZ Posted 27 July 2012 Posted 27 July 2012 so Swansea selling Allen and Britton... i can see Allen going Liverpool for £15mil(dont think hes worth that) but Britton.... yeah....also it didnt come from one of the source I trust so NAY DEAL atm
