MPH Posted 29 May 2012 Posted 29 May 2012 Heskey has never been a 20 goal a season man but if he does sign he will hold the ball up which is what NP wants. He's one of the best players who can do that as part of a front 3 with 2 of Nugent, Marshall, beckford, Vardy, waghorn or schlupp we will score a shit load of goals. Sorry to be the boblet, but he WAS a 20 goal a season striker. for one season, i think. His first at Liverpool.
Jaspa Posted 29 May 2012 Posted 29 May 2012 Sorry to be the boblet, but he WAS a 20 goal a season striker. for one season, i think. His first at Liverpool. He scored 14 in 2000-01 . . . In the Prem, and that was his most Boblet ? But I defiantly think Em would be worth gettin
Kitchandro Posted 29 May 2012 Posted 29 May 2012 He scored 14 in 2000-01 . . . In the Prem, and that was his most Boblet ? But I defiantly think Em would be worth gettin It was 22 in all competitions I think. But I suppose if we're not counting Beckford's cup goals we can't count Heskey's either
Jaspa Posted 29 May 2012 Posted 29 May 2012 It was 22 in all competitions I think. But I suppose if we're not counting Beckford's cup goals we can't count Heskey's either Well the only info I could get was off FM11

Leicfox Posted 29 May 2012 Posted 29 May 2012 Andy Pilley @capboy70 Ftfc expect to announce at 7pm today the signing of a top player with significant premiership and international experience. Could Heskey be going to Fleetwood.
Happy Fox Posted 29 May 2012 Posted 29 May 2012 Andy Pilley @capboy70 Ftfc expect to announce at 7pm today the signing of a top player with significant premiership and international experience. Could Heskey be going to Fleetwood. Probably Robbie Fowler

Could Heskey be going to Fleetwood. Could it be Vassell? cant see him dropping that far down the leagues but he fits the bill
flowwolf Posted 29 May 2012 Posted 29 May 2012 F*** Off Haven't you got some Year2 homework you need to be marking God, Tonight ! And shouldn't you be studying a dictionary ? God pullets.
Dan Posted 29 May 2012 Posted 29 May 2012 That Fleetwood signing actually could be Vassell. They have a bit of money behind them.
Ely fox Posted 29 May 2012 Posted 29 May 2012 Dont understand why we didnt go in for Leadbitter or Robson from middlesborugh both tenacious ball winners ... i think thisfor sort of a player is a must us and unless we get someone in like this we wont go up. Wellens, king, drinkwater , danns are all too light weight, an d similar type of players. Barry Robson would be a good signing.

Chazwaz Posted 29 May 2012 Posted 29 May 2012 The main reason I want Heskey to sign is so then I will be able to buy a Heskey shirt without feeling like an idiot.
Ely fox Posted 29 May 2012 Posted 29 May 2012 Well thats two good players we have missed out on in a key area unabomber. Both would have been on reasonable wages. Our midfield looks a bit lightweight for me. You need more tackilng in this league but fair point if Robson has already gone.
Leicfox Posted 29 May 2012 Posted 29 May 2012 That Fleetwood signing actually could be Vassell. They have a bit of money behind them. It's not Vassell. It's apparently David Healy or Damien Johnson. Back on topic - Has Emile signed yet?
Jaspa Posted 29 May 2012 Posted 29 May 2012 It's not Vassell. It's apparently David Healy. Back on topic - Has Emile signed yet? We need to wait for his contract at Villa to run out Then it could be announced
MGLCFC Posted 29 May 2012 Posted 29 May 2012 This has been discussd before - Heskey's is no longer a Villa player - they have released him, which means he is free to join any other team. When a player has been released his contract is no longer valid, usually being paid off or cancelled bt mutual consent. I assume, Heskey will have had his wages paid until the end of his contract (30th June) and is now free to talk to whoever he wants and sign a pre-contract agreement starting 1st July.

Wellens, king, drinkwater , danns are all too light weight, an d similar type of players. Barry Robson would be a good signing. Robson would've been a poor signing. He's had his day hence why he's heading to the MLS and isn't a natural DM anyway.
THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 29 May 2012 Posted 29 May 2012 Giant man isn't he. I've heard he's got the tiniest little stinkhole
The People's Hero Posted 29 May 2012 Posted 29 May 2012 Vassell would decimate League 2. Leaving only 2.4 teams? Which ones would he spare?
