Greg2607 Posted 15 May 2012 Posted 15 May 2012 So King Kenny gets sacked / "resigns" and the man he replaced is now the Current England Manager. Short sighted of Liverpool at the time or a sign of a lack of strength in English Managers?
Guest BlueBrett Posted 15 May 2012 Posted 15 May 2012 Yankeedoodle owners bowing to pressure from ignorant fans
AjcW Posted 15 May 2012 Posted 15 May 2012 Not actually official yet this is it? Im currently watching SSN
Jon the Hat Posted 15 May 2012 Posted 15 May 2012 They better have someone rather good lined up if they are getting rid of Kenny. Not sure which way I would go if it was my decision.
Greg2607 Posted 15 May 2012 Author Posted 15 May 2012 well Liverpool are "refusing to comment".................surely if he hadn't / wasn't going then they would just flatly deny it?
Guest BlueBrett Posted 15 May 2012 Posted 15 May 2012 Pressure from fans? Dalglish is loved at Anfield. I was referring to his appointment not his dismissal. He's a terrible manager.
Libertine Posted 15 May 2012 Posted 15 May 2012 He's holding talks with the owners today apparently. Most 'rumours' are that he might walk rather than be sacked. Perhaps discussing him going back upstairs.
Ozwin Posted 15 May 2012 Posted 15 May 2012 For the sake of Liverpool they should sack him. For the sake of hilarity they should keep him.
Out Foxed Posted 15 May 2012 Posted 15 May 2012 it's his own fault. looking back on old interviews he was always a testy willy puller. not to mention his comments on shearer after the lennon incident "justice was done" or something along those lines.
goose2010 Posted 15 May 2012 Posted 15 May 2012 apparently Rafa Benitez is being lined up for a come back. Don't know how that would go down with the Liverpool fans. He did a decent job there to be honest.

Very true. Consistently poor team selection didn't exactly help either
thewarmanator Posted 15 May 2012 Posted 15 May 2012 They better have someone rather good lined up if they are getting rid of Kenny. Not sure which way I would go if it was my decision. Capello? Oh no i forget he said he wanted to manage a team capable of getting into the champions league
MikeyT Posted 15 May 2012 Posted 15 May 2012 Don't like the man. Can't tell you why really. He just has one of those faces.
ScouseFox Posted 15 May 2012 Posted 15 May 2012 He's a massive bellend. The most amazing thing about the whole situation is that most Liverpool fans want him to stay. Deluded fans, deluded manager.
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 15 May 2012 Posted 15 May 2012 He will "resign" but I am not surprised at all, they have had a poor season and just tried to cover it up with the Carling Cup. Isn't this the worst season they have had since 1953?
Jaspa Posted 15 May 2012 Posted 15 May 2012 He's not even gone. This And I don't think he will be I don't support, or especially like Liverpool ( Apart from when they play Utd ) but having Kenny as manager has given them something back that they have been missing for a long time.

Fox92 Posted 15 May 2012 Posted 15 May 2012 I was referring to his appointment not his dismissal. He's a terrible manager. He has been out of the game a long time, and the size of the job was massive. He isn't a terrible manager. He led Liverpool to the New Wembley for the first time, three times in a season. But then again, it isn't good enough because a club the size of Liverpool should be challenging for the title, and in Europe. Dalglish had a massive job from day one. Some of the players he inherited from previous manager's are not good enough, and apart from the likes of Reina, Skrtel, Gerrard and Suarez, the rest of the squad is generally made up of average/just above average players, that are probably not good enough to play for Liverpool. I'd really like to see Liverpool challenging for the Premier League table again.

Including those he paid 100M pounds for.
Tielemans63 Posted 15 May 2012 Posted 15 May 2012 Seems like Damien Comolli has been made scapegoat for those truly shocking signings,
