My uncle is a contestant on the new series of Sewing Bee, starting tonight.

Always wondered about these sort of shows. Are they recorded weeks/months before transmission and folk are sworn to secrecy regarding eventual winners?

Think he recorded it last summer. Yes, they're sworn to secrecy.

Anyone watching Shardlake?  Worth watching?  Anything with Sean Bean in is always a good watch.  Forgot about this one, was looking through Disney earlier and reminded me of something I'd read about a couple of months back about this new Sean Bean series.

Watched the first two episodes of Baby Reindeer, very good so far. But I do feel at times the guy just allowed himself to get close. He just seemed like he had so many opportunities to put the record straight.

Really enjoying Trying on Apple TV.

Just finished series 2 out of 4.

The 2 main characters, Rafe Spall and Ester Smith are brilliant together.

Think they’re a couple in real life. It’s a nice tv show but they’ve dragged it out a bit now!

Inside no 9 was pretty tense tonight, enjoyed it and probably one of the best I've seen in a while. Endings are a bit predictable now though.

Not seen last night's yet, but agree about the endings, the second and third episodes of this series you could see where they were going.

Wow, this is going to be a documentary to watch....though it's not her fault.

Only, I now know how it’s going to end.

Watched the new series of Rebus on the Beeb. I vaguely recall watching the original series on ITV, although in those days you had to endure ad breaks, which I dislike.

I really enjoyed the BBC treatment, although the ending left lots of things hanging in the air - presumably because they’re already making the next series.

Watching the Rob Burrows documentary on BBC was heartbreaking tonight and puts things into perspective. Hits hard when you see his family around him and how brave they have been.

Red eye on itv.

With Huncotes Richard Armitage.

Very good thriller

I really enjoyed it. Other half was less than impressed, mainly due to Richard's acting.

My big problem with Richard Armitage he's performing like he's on stage, some of his lines are delivered theatrically rather than natural. Performing in like a stage  can make really strange watching on the TV. Miscast comes to mind... he's okay actor but I've seen this in number of his performances on film and TV.

I like RA too, first saw him in Spooks too. Played a good Thorin in The Hobbit and has had a few roles in the recent glut of Harlan Coben adaptations on Netflix, as well.

Do agree that the stage experience comes through in his delivery but for me that works for most of his roles.
