Last of us Season two: 5.5/10.

Really poor compared to the first season.

Mob Land: very entertaining watch: 8.5/10.

Watched both and would agree on Mobland.

Last of us gone super woke and gone down the Walking Dead road of forgetting about the zombies that it was supposed to be about.

Just started Andor S1 following all the hype with S2 and the tie in with the excellent Rogue One which I've seen a couple of times.

E1 was slow, expecting similar from E2.   When does this pick up?

It's more of a story telling series than action packed but I found it very good.

I found the whole season, bar the last couple of episodes quite slow. Was ok i guess but only continued watching as S2 has been so hyped up.

It’s very much the formulaic easy watch as always but Tucci in Italy is lovely for 45 mins

Just nice, comfy TV. Love it. Although I think I've got a bit of a bro crush on Tucci. Just one cool dude.

You get normally 2 really slow episodes then the third is the pay off.

I hope these kids are protected from the inevitable toxicity on all sides.

Problem need to be warned that once they do Harry Potter, there is a huge risk of type casting. Both Dan Radcliffe and Rupert Grint haven't exactly had any other major hits. Emma Watson only one that kind of managed to break way from that type cast and got some decent movies roles.

The game was super woke. The first game is an absolute masterpiece and flawless. The sequel wasn’t nearly as good on many levels, but if you haven’t played it, wait until they introduce Lev to the TV show.

It took me a while to watch series one because of the casting. I ended up watching it and enjoyed it. Series 2 I waited for the episodes to build up so I could binge, but then I saw the “I’m gonna be a dad?” memes and a few other things and can’t help but feel HBO fcuked it!

Pretty much why I'm struggling with it. As mentioned, first game was great as it had a defined plot with purpose. Second game was dull as dishwater given it completely omits the entire zombie/cure angle and is just a vehicle to see how much personal suffering and misery can be shoehorned into a game in the name of "being gritty".

I've also struggled with Ramsey as Ellie. First season I thought she did a good job, but either through the writing or directing, any of Ellie's charm and innocence is just completely removed.

Hopefully season three gives the writers some wriggle room to actually introduce a story and it might benefit from it.

Daniel Radcliffe has had a very varied career in terms of the roles he's gotten. Emma Watson has done much less work overall.

She did get to smile at me once at a wedding though.

I honestly think they're all happy just doing what they're doing. They've made as much money as they'll ever need before they were 25 and will have exorbitant residuals annually for the rest of their lives. They don't need to seek fame or major roles, they can choose whatever role tickles their fancy and avoid the publicity that will come with it. Radcliffe has made some brilliant choices over the years and put in some really solid performances.

Yes I just found her character intensely irritating and selfish.  Season two overall a big disappointment.

Interesting thing for Dan, Rupert and Emma was at just 12 years old they were millionaires. Set up for life i guess, each movie it increased no doubt.

Not to mention the repeat fees for the endless re-runs on ITV.

Probably been said some years before, but im rewatching it so thought I'd give it a mention. Chernobyl. One of the best dramas I've ever seen. Read a book on it aswell, and there's also a podcast to go along with the series. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend, and for a little fact, when it happened, we were extremely close to all of us not being here today if not for some brave Russians.
